i've had the J7+ for about 8 months and it is not as fancy as some of the high end vacuums, but it just works. The biggest benefit is the way the dirt bin and sensor works. I had another brand before and, with a house that has four dogs, the previous one seemed to get frequent clogs with pet hair. The J7 handles it with ease..
Hi Hansie, thanks for the comment! I agree it’s good at emptying its bin. In fact the whole process when used with a voice assistant (an Alexa device in our case) means it takes little effort to keep the home clean.
I enjoyed listening to your presentation. I just bought the J8+. Is there a way to use it without downloading the app? I'm concerned about it being a "spy" machine.
Hi Irene, thanks for the comment and kind words, it's really appreciated 🙂! All robots made by iRobot can be used without needing to connect to the App or Wi-Fi. To do this simply press the button on the top cover and the robot will vacuum everywhere using the furniture and walls to move around the house, and clean the rooms.
