Hi MrManDiller, thanks for the comment 🙂. It's another example of how Dyson models (particularly the attachments) vary depending on where in the world you are. For example, in the UK only the Gen5detect comes with the built in crevice tool, but the v15 doesn't www.dyson.co.uk/vacuum-cleaners/cordless/v15/detect-yellow-nickel whereas in the US the v15 does have it www.dyson.com/vacuum-cleaners/cordless/gen5/detect-absolute-hepa-prussian-blue .
Hi Emma, I haven't not with Blink. However, I do own several Yi Home Cameras and it works well. Once setup its simply a case of asking to see the 'named' camera and it works fine, although I tend I use the Yi Home app on my phone more probably due to needing to see the camera(s) when I not near the Echo Show. I would imagine the Blink system will work just as well.
I Have the V5 Outsize Absolute, and the guide wheels break off once or twice week. Dyson has terrible customer service. I would not recommend this vacuum if you have tile floors. It works great on carpet. I have since purchased a different brand.
Hi Relax and Live Life 🙂, you'll be pleased to hear I adjusted future videos shortly after this so there is no music in the main body of the videos. Unfortunately, I can't retrospectively change a video after it has been posted.
Hi zhappy, thanks for the comment and great question! It depends what you enjoy and think is 'worth it'. There are literally hundreds of titles that can be played on the Meta Quest 3 without needing a PC or any other device, with more titles being added. In fact, I believe it has largest number of titles available for any VR device(?). Simply download the game or application you enjoy (or need) and you're away, for example Asgard's Wrath 2 here: 4:05 doesn’t need a PC! The fact it can also connect to a PC improves its range by allowing the users to enjoy VR in many other titles too, for example Microsoft Simulator 2020. In short, if you are looking for a VR headset and you don't have a PC, I still think it's worth considering.
I just bought the v15 which now has the built in "crevice" tool. Pushing the trigger isn't a problem and is actually nice, but the trigger guard is not ergonomic. The handle is too small and the guard constantly puts pressure on the bottom of my index finger knuckle, especially as you twist your hand to rotate the vacuum
Hi Science, thank you for the comment and for sharing your experience of the V15 🙂. Unfortunately, not all Dyson models are equal between countries. The built-in crevice tool is an example of this, where it is available in the United States but not in the United Kingdom. It's the same with other attachments on different models too, where they often vary, or are completely different, or don’t have the same number of attachments between countries. The trigger 'issue' I talk about in the video won't be a problem for everyone, but you make a good point about the ergonomics particularly with the trigger guard.. where it becomes more noticeable the longer you use the cleaner
Hi Nelson, it depends on what you plan to use it for. If you are planning (or want the ability) to download several apps/games so they are 'there' installed on the device waiting to be played, then you will probably want the 512Gb version as it can store more. However, for something like Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 it doesn't download anything to the device, it simply plays the simulator in VR through the PC.
I'd lose the music in the background. It makes it hard to hear you speak & is distracting. I'm just interested in your vacuum review. If I wanted music in the background, I could play my own. I've watched a lot of people talk about how to make better RU-vid videos & the background music comes up often & they all say don't use it. Good video otherwise though.
Hi NewSunSEO, thank you so much for the comment and suggestion, I agree 🙂. Since posting this video I have gone on to restricted music to the start and end of my videos with the main body having no music. It's a continual learning process with the aim/hope being to make them better each time.
Hi Saudaminishah, thank you for the comment 🙂. It is a smart home hub if thats what you mean and it can reach devices located at distance, but this will be down to the network they are on. For example, if your internet covers 100m (or more) and you put this device on the same network (internet) it will work fine. So the answer is yes 🙂
Thank you for the review. Some questions, please: 1) The feet look small- does the TV shake easily? Is there much risk of it tipping over? 2) Would it be worh buying anti-tip anchor straps (they're attached by screwing into the TV and cabinet or wall)? Can you recommend a good brand? 3) Do you think it's worth buying a TV screen cover to protect from impact , e.g., toys being thrown? 4) Does it have a 3.5 mm headphone jack? I called a shop and their one had a jack but you didn't mention it in your video Thank you!
Hi MH, thanks so much for the comment and questions I'll run through the questions in order. 1) This was a concern I had too as I also have a young family but it's very stable and all concerns I had have gone. 2) Personally, I don't think they are needed but appreciate each used case is different. If there is a risk your children might climbing up behind the TV then it might be worth considering 3) Great question. Yes I would consider it given your example. It's a stunning TV with a beautiful picture and if there is a risk of items being thrown at it then for peace of mind it might be worth getting one. 4) There is a jack but I haven't been able to try it with headphones so can't say for certain if it will work with them.
Hello Jose, thank you for the question 🙂. No, unfortunately this will not work and that's because the electrical contact is built into the battery and not the device. You can see this here where I review the Dyson Dok and slot the dyson (or more specifically the battery) onto the electrical contact: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-SgMrH4I9CFQ.htmlsi=6_kaFCffZ-X_O4PV&t=106
Hi Maureen, thank you so much for the comment and for sharing this🙂! It's another example of how well Panasonic make products. I posted a review of the Panasonic microwave I bought (here: The review is here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-XP1F-lMsv0c.htmlsi=Ak6kLk6G8PgWJbSs ) and feel that it too will last many years.
Just ordered one for myself! I can't wait for the experience. I am going to do gliding on it and replicate the experience I had earlier this year when flying one In real Life. Thanks for the video!
Hi Striker, thank you for the comment and kind words 🙂! The Quest 2 is an excellent device and I have recently posted a review for the Quest 3 too which, if you are interested, is here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iQOvJDVSwH4.htmlsi=vqosBzZxtvLEjAbo . The Quest 2 remains an fantastic outstanding device though and I hope you enjoy it as much as we have.
Hi Banana, see here where I have posted a full review about the TV here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-pR4ZqfIPET0.htmlsi=Py6GuUmuO5ETE6cn
A pixel burned out on my Quest 3. I gave it back under warranty - more than a month has passed, the distributor has not yet given any answer or solved the problem. DO NOT BUY, in case of warranty you will sit for months without your device. So what should I do now, buy another one or wait another month? I fly in a DCS squad and my flight partners are no longer happy with me. What can I do - these are all meta cocks.
Hi Nauvofact, thanks for the comment and I'm sorry to read this. It will depend on where you are in the world but in the UK I think you should be able to contact the retailer (not the manufacturer, but where you bought it from for example Amazon) and request a repair or replacement (it shouldn't take too long).
Hi Graeme! It's a great question but I don't think it does. The device links to your Amazon Prime photos, where although I have short home/family videos, none of them play. I will have a look again soon and if I see anything which shows it can I will let you know 🙂
I have both a google pixel watch and a versa 4 and the versa 4 for me it feels like the same interface as the pixel watch so I feel like they both run wear os
Thanks I found this very helpful. I have had a fit bit for years but it died and I am looking for a replacement. Now there are so many options, I could not make head nor tail of features, different styles and look. You mad it very simple and clear! I am off to buy a Versa 4. Cheers!
I upgraded to meta quest 3 then recently sold it and went back to the 2. WHY ? The advertisement shows super clear pass through. That’s is not what you see that is the recorded pass through. So basically the pass through sucks I’d wait for future designs that have actual pass through
This was exactly what I was looking for, thank you for a great realistic review! The power button is a must for me with carpal tunnel issues and I don't think I can justify the price of Gen5, so V12 it is!
Hi Zofia, thank you so much for your kind words and comment 🙂! It is very much appreciated! The V12 is an excellent device and if you have already bought it I hope you are enjoying it 🙂
hello, i have a question if it's alright, it's about the quest's "goggles". i really do not like things being near my eyes. swimming goggles, while manageable, are far from comfortable, and i really cannot deal with sleep masks at all. would these goggles be okay, (even if it's with an accessory) or is this a piece of tech that i should stay away from? thank you for taking the time to read this, and i hope to hear some positive news 🙂
Hello Jamie, thanks for the comment and question 🙂! I empathise as my wife has a similar dislike for googles. Unfortunately, the very nature of what they are means you are not going to like them as they are 'goggles'... and not to too dissimilar the feeling you get wearing a diving mask. That said, when my wife plays the Quest 3 she immerses herself into the game Saber Beat and enjoys it, but it's short lived and it’s not something she seeks to play often. I wish I could give more positive news, but my personal advice would be avoid buying some until you can try a VR headset demonstration somewhere.
@@james_newall i see, that is unfortunate news, i was hoping to get one within the next few months. i have never tried wearing a diving mask, but i guess it's similar to swimming goggles in a way. i guess i will have to ask one of my friends if they have one that i can try out. not sure if this will change anything, but if i did get one, i would have used them for nature views, fighting games, and movies. thank you for responding. ...maybe i will be able to use a cheap (broken) model as a form of exposure therapy some day.
Hi Darius, thanks for the comment 🙂. Unfortunately, it sounds as though there is an issue with the vacuum you have. I would take it back to where you bought it and ask for a replacement.
Wondering if they fixed the bluetooth problem. I bought this to upgrade from my 1st generation but the bluetooth wouldn't connect to my various bluetooth speakers/earbuds. I sent it back.
Great video, very clear and easy to follow. May I ask how much you spent in total, more or less? (I don't see the links to the components in the description)
Hi v.f7658, thank you so much for the comment and kind words, it's appreciated 🙂! At the time we spent approximately £2,000 which probably translates to just under £1,500 today (?). I have listed all the components in the description, including monitor and the VR Headsets, so they should appear, although I probably need to update the links as some may be out of stock or sold no more. If you are interested, I have also added a VR Headset to build, initially the Meta Quest 2 and posted a video review for it here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-xy3zOlU2l3E.html and more recently I have the Meta Quest 3, which again, I have posted a review for here: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-iQOvJDVSwH4.html
