Thank you so much, I really appreciate that! Yes, I always call about 2 weeks in advance and ask for the room request to be added to my reservation. They can't guarantee that you will get it but they always say they will try their best. 🩷 I have tried the fax/email method I have seen online but that didn't work was well for me. Calling has given me the best luck!
Here's a good tip. If your baby is a toddler (specially under the age of 3) and enjoys spending time with mom and dad and loves splashing in water and playing with large outdoor toys then spend your holiday time at a resort that specifically caters for such. Leave Disney until your kid has a chance of understanding what is going on. Don't pretend you are putting your children first because you are not 😊
Good point! We love taking our toddler to the parks and he definitely enjoys it while he's there BUT he also loves the pool too. lol It's definitely for our long term memories with him and the pictures we can show him when he's older.💜
Our 3-family extended group stayed at Coronado Springs in June of 2022 & loved it. Our rooms were in the Grand Destino Tower. We loved all the hidden Mickeys, the bougie design & furnishings of the tower, & how large the rooms were. The only downside to our stay was that 3 Bridges Grille was so busy we didn't get to go there. We'll definitely go back there next trip.
I'm so glad you had a great stay! It really is such a fabulous resort that feels super high end! Definitely head back to 3 Bridges - it's worth the trip!! Thanks for sharing your experience and checking out our video!! 💜
I always enjoy your resorts guide! I wanted to know about this resort, didn’t realize how big it was. Your guide was almost like being there, Always informative and entertaining. Waiting on the next one!
Wow, thank you so much. That is so kind of you to say. We love making these videos and truly appreciate the support!! We will have a new video next Sunday…at an all new resort! 🎉
Thank you so much!! 💜 We appreciate the kind words and you taking the time to check out our video. Our next tour is being posted on Sunday and is our first deluxe resort on the challenge. We can’t wait to share it! Hope you can check it out 🎉
No, we booked a standard room and then added the room request! Didn’t need to book the preferred rooms. Sometimes it will delay your room being ready but if I arrive early I just head to the front desk and let them know we are there and tell them about the request just to see if there is anything they can do to get us one of those rooms a little earlier. Hope this helps! 🥰
Yes, the cabanas section is really convenient too. The hammocks look so inviting and the buildings are so pretty. Thanks for checking out our video and sharing with us!! 💜
Honestly, I haven't tried a room request with anything other than a Disney booking so I can't speak to that directly and Disney doesn't officially say anything about how they prioritize request. However, I have made a booking through a third party in the past (about 5 years ago) and the Disney cast member at the time had a really hard time making any adjustments to my reservation and I had to call the third party directly. This may not be the case any more but at the time, it was hard to do. I'm sorry I can't give you more direction on this.
Thanks for reaching out! I do not know of an email that you can send request to. But you can make some general request in your My Disney Experience account. There are drop down options that vary resort to resort and include things like ground floor, near an elevator, or king bed, ect. But for specific request like I mentioned in the video, I find it best to give them a call and have them add it to your reservation on their end. That has worked the best for me! Thanks for watching our video and checking out our channel!
I will be staying at the tower with kids and need to take the bus..to the parks..since its the last stop will the bus be too packed? now im worried i didnt realize this when i booked it
Hi! Thanks so much for taking the time to check out our video!! There is a chance that the busses will be packed with it being the last stop. We were just at a different all bus resort 3 weeks ago and we noticed though that things seemed to be back to normal with the busses. They were sending busses faster and allowing more people in the bus. Right after the pandemic, they were limiting the number of people getting on and not allowing standing. Now, though sitting and standing are allowed and they try to get as many people on as possible. If you really want to be on a specific bus (say first bus of the morning for rope drop), I would suggest walking to bus pick up #1. In my opinion, Coronado is a very walkable resort (the map looks bigger than it is) and if you leave the tower a little early then you can easily walk over the bridge to the Casitas pick up spot. Your bus may still be packed but you will get first option of a seat. If you have the My Disney Experience App on your phone, you will be able to see all of the scheduled bus pick up times in real time to let you know if one bus is coming or if they are sending multiple busses and the times that those busses will arrive. On our last trip, we toughed out a packed morning bus (personal space was not an option on that ride 🤪) to make it for rope drop but came back during an off time avoiding the night time crowds and we had a bus nearly to ourselves. I hope this helps, but if you think of more questions feel free to ask. I'll be happy to help if I can!
@@amandarodriguez1242 Yes, that's what we did and we didn't have any trouble! You can see when the first bus will be coming that morning in the My Disney Experience App under your room reservation. I try my best to get on the first bus (try to get there a little before that first time slot) if possible but even the second bus will get you there before the lines are too long! 😍
Hi! Sorry for the delayed response but YES the busses are free to resort guest!! 🎉 you can see the bus travel times in the My Disney Experience app as well as on a board at the bus pick up locations. They typically start running 45 minutes before the parks open and keep running an hour after park closing to get you back to your resort. I hope this helps! If you have any other questions, let me know. Thanks for checking out our channel and connecting with us! ❤️
Currently planning a trip with my niece and her 3 kids. I'm pretty much letting her do all the planning / arrangements but had to put in only 1 request and I Literally Laughed at Loud at the 3:00 mark of this Video.... Y'all Rock!!!! Thanks for such valuable insight 🙂
That’s awesome! Yes, if I’m with a theme park enthusiast I don’t want to take one extra step. Lol I hope this helps!! Thanks for taking the time to check out our video. I hope your trip is wonderful!!
