I always stayed at Pop Century on my Disney trips. I either take the bus or Sky Liner to other parks and DSprings. Food area is good, arcade is fun, walking trails was enjoyable. When I go back I’ll stay there again💙🔥
That’s awesome! Off the top of my head, I would say be sure to rent a golf cart for Fort Wilderness. It makes getting around so easy. If you want some down time from the parks be sure to check out the Tri Circle D Ranch to see the beautiful horses that work in the parks. You can walk around for free or pay for pony rides/carriage rides. And be sure to do the Chip-N-Dale Campfire Sing-A-Long. It happens most nights (weather permitting) and it’s so much fun. You can roast marshmallows, Chip-n-Dale come out for a little show and there is a movie under the stars afterwards. It’s a free event for resort guests (but you can purchase food there if you want). I hope you guys have a magical time!!
@@PONYOLIKESHAMMMM@PONYOLIKESHAMMMM They have the option to rent a 6-person or a 4-person cart! I would just call in advance to make sure you can reserve the size you need before you arrive :)
Hello, thank you for your video. We are considering booking this hotel for economic reasons, we have seen a lot of negative comments about the noise. What did you think?
I think it depends on the time of year honestly. During big holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring Break) or Run Disney events these resorts have a lot of people and can be noisy. But during lower crowd times, they can be super quiet. I personally have never had trouble with noise in the room. We always book a preferred room and travel with a sound machine which cuts pretty much all noise. I also like to call and request a top floor room here. I don’t mind using the elevator and it eliminates noise from above. I really like the whimsy of these resorts but Chris likes to unplug from the crowds so these aren’t his personal favorite. If you are going during a slower time of year, I think they are a really good economical option. I hope this helps!
@@MagicalResortsGuide Thank you very much for your reply, I think we'll be staying there in October and on your advice we'll ask for a room on the 3rd floor ;)
@@paulinederouin-ey7pl That sounds awesome!! And I wouldn't think you would have too much trouble with noise in October. I hope you all have a magical time!
Disney's Wilderness Lodge. Is great. Loved it both times we have been there. But they have almost doubled there price for the same room same time of year.. Priced me out. Shame. We would come to Disney world again. Trip that was 6-7 thousand is now 11 to 12.
Yes!! The Disney busses run to all four theme parks, Disney Springs, and the water parks from ASM. The busses are located at the front of the resort and you can find departure times in your My Disney Experience app.
At this resort, sadly no! They are very strict here, monitor the entrances, and give out wristbands for the exact number of people listed on the reservation. At a lot of other Disney resort pools, this would be an option but they are super strict at Beach Club. Probably bc the pool is so cool!
@@MagicalResortsGuide thanks for the heads up. I would have been heartbroken to have asked some friends staying at another resort to come hang out on my no park day.
Hi there! We are going in February for our honeymoon! Would you suggest this would be a nice place for us? I keep hearing and seeing horror stories about the bus stops.
If the Caribbean vibes speak to you then I think you will love it. It’s a beautiful property. However, we haven’t loved the room quality or bus issues the last two times we stayed. It’s a sentimental resort for us (and there are a lot of things we do love about it) but sadly we haven’t picked it much recently bc of this. Not that you asked but my suggestion would be to look at Port Orleans French Quarter. In my opinion, this is such a romantic and intimate resort. You can also book a sunset carriage ride, they have a fun jazz bar, and there is a water shuttle to Disney Springs which opens up a lot more dining and nightlife options. It’s one of my favorite moderate resorts! 💕
You forgot two transportation option that exists within Disney. Both of these are within the Magic Kingdom park. One is the people mover, but that is more of a ride. The second is the "steam locomotive" that runs around the park. This can be,a very useful option if your exhausted and find yourself near wilderness area, or the far end of the new area in fantasybland. My last time in the park, a "newbie" was with me and we were in the far section of fantasyland. I mentioned to her if we wanted to exit it was going to be a long walk or.... We took the locomotive to the transportation and ticket center! One stop!
Those are both great options inside Magic Kingdom. The People Mover is one of our favorites rides and the train for sure saves your legs when you are all the way in the back. Thanks for watching and sharing!
I have ridden trains in numerous places across the United States. places like Chicago, Long Island, New Jersey, and the NYC Subway and Amtrack. But for low noise and comfort the Disney Monorail is the best
Anyone else notice the video running in reverse at 4:48? 😂 In all seriousness though, this was helpful in determining which hotel to stay in for my Disney World trip in the fall. All the videos on the channel are fun to watch!
You caught my glitch!! 😝 I didn’t notice it until it was too late. Oh well! Haha Thanks for the kind words and for checking out our videos. We appreciate it!
There isn't a resort where all 4 transportation options are available. The monorail and skyliner aren't connecting closely enough. But there are some resorts that will offer 3 of the 4 and you can always experience the 4th from one of the theme parks. For example, if you stay at Beach Club, you will have access to the Skyliner, Boat, and Bus from your resort. And if you would like to take a ride on the monorail you can do so after visiting Magic Kingdom one day. It will not take you back to your resort in this case but you would still get the experience. Hope this helps! If you haven't already, be sure to download our transportation guide. In it we have listed each resort and the types of transportation available from them! 💜
We haven't personally done a Lyft or Uber from Disney so I can't speak to what they offer. I do know, though that if you book the "Minnie Van Service" through the Lyft app they will provide you with car seats. We have done this before and really enjoyed it. These vans are driven by Disney Cast members, will have car seats available, and typically only cost a little more than the standard Lyft driver.
I can completely understand!! But once you get here it's very easy to get around and the cast members are so helpful! You would definitely be able to do it!
Thanks you. It’s been years since I visited Disney with my now adult kids and stayed at Coronado Springs. I have now have 10year who have never been. I’m thinking this Category will be perfect for just the two of us..Thank you
hello, We stay in a Hotel 19 minutes drive from Disney. (Rosen Inn international) I need to know how I get to the parks from the parking lot. Do you know the answer? thanks a lot!
Our extended-family of 9 stayed at CS at our last visit to WDW & we loved it. It's a beautiful resort with lots of amenities, lots of great food, and lots of hidden Mickeys. Yes, you will have a longer travel time to Magic Kingdom, but you will be very close to Animal Kingdom & Hollywood Studios. Epcot is just a few minutes more. We all agreed that we definitely would stay here again.
