💯 I loved your South Goa Road Routes Explanation...Mee to Travelled 3 times Via Bankapura Toll Gate after Left to Yellapur.Roads are Terrible..Now I got A New Route from Your videos🤝
Thanks a lot! I completed the journey using the same route on April 05, and I must say it was my smoothest entry to Goa in my last three attempts in five years. Here are a few suggestions and facts for others: 1. NH48 to Tadas goes via a Vilage. Must avoid odd times. I used it around 8 am, and locals bullied me at two places. But for Village Road, it was really Good. 2. Karwar to North Goa really takes time, so plan for it. if you are planning for South Goa and this could be the best choice 👍 3. Apart from a few places where work is in progress on NH48, you going to love the Road till Goa.

Typically we need to pick route based on climate. I have tried 4 routes so far, Via 1.Mundgod, yellapur 2. Anmond, Mollem(Main), 3.Khanapur, Chorla Ghat, 4.Sirsi, Kumta This is new to me. Next time will try this Tadas one (only 18 to 20 kms of strange road). Thank you.
Yes, you can check this route. I have done the other ones as well , found this one best in terms of road condition and distance. Also if someone is not comfortable with ghat road, then this is the easiest one. Do subscribe to our channel if you like. We will be posting more trips and experiences.
Hey Sayan, Thanks for sharing the feedback and glad it was useful. We keep traveling and upload our travel experiences. amader channel ta Subscribe korle bhalo lagbe ! Happy Journey.
I went further north to Maharashtra and then returned to Bangalore. I would have taken the same route if I were to come back directly to Bangalore. Please subscribe to the channel if the video was informative.
You have not shown it precisely. AT 8:39 you are showing "we are here" with blue line showing left turn, But you went straight to Timmapur and Muthalli from there you took service road and made a V left turn followed by Indian oil. You can see 360D picture of the places in the google map. Thanks , It took some time but I found the route.
I don't think you have followed the video and audio properly. There is no need to drive till Timmapur and Muthalli. At 8:39 you need to take the service road and take left within 800metres at TADAS. It is quite simple.
@@thewanderlusters5973 You went further up towards Ramankop which comes after Muthalli. At 9:15 the petrol pump on left hand side comes at Ramankop. IT is IndianOil, Ground Floor Tadas, Cross, PB Road, Ramankop, Karnataka 581212 You can copy paste the following url in chrome browser and find it out that Google has taken this recording on DEC 2022 displayed on left side black box when the road was not double lane and white paint marked. www.google.com/maps/@15.1603165,75.1409961,3a,75y,170.67h,75.09t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sqj9iHyrjhanSOAWTffhCDw!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?coh=205409&entry=ttu
Nice informative video, thank you. Could I ask a few questions? 1. From where in Vangalore did you start? 2. I see the route you took did not have many dhabas/restaurants. Do you still feel this is the best route? 3. BLR to Goa would be a 10 - 10.5 hour drive with two 30-minute halts? While returning, did you take the same route back?
Answers in same Sequence: 1. Sarjapur Road 2. Dhaba/restaurant locations are in Tumkur, Chitradurga, Davangere, Yellapur and Karwar. So you can plan based on what time you reach at these locations for breakfast/lunch/dinner. Normally I start very early so reach Goa by lunch time or carry my own lunch for flexibility. 3. Yes I would take the same route back unless I travel to some other place. In this trip I travelled further to Maharashtra so took a different route back to Bangalore. Hope this is helpful. Thanks for watching the video, please subscribe if you like as we keep doing long drives and share experiences.
Hi, appreciate your guidance through this video. I need a help. If i want to reach Ponda, Goa. Which route you would suggest. The one in this video? Or something else.. kindly advise..
For Ponda, I would suggest you to drive till Dharwad and then take left to Alvanar-Ramnagar-Mollem-Ponda route. Hope this helps. Please subscribe to our channel if you like.
This route is a boon. However, the route between TADAS and Kalaghatgi is really really bad. Also few major patches on NH52 while in the ghat area makes it a bit cumbersome. I have not yet explored the route via Yellapur to Bankapura. If anyone can update on this as I believe it should be constructed by now (was under construction last new year) please respond here. Thanks
If you are driving to Goa, would recommend to go to Dandeli for river rafting. You can see our experience here. It is a must do activity if you are in south Goa ! studio.ru-vid.com_ue6AOs7LOM/edit
Depends on how you drive. You can cruise over 100Kmph in NH 48 and NH66 and on the rest between 60-80 except the patch of 19 km village road. Overall average will come to 55 -66 Kmph. Hope this gives an idea. Please subscribe to our channel to support us.
How is the 20 km around tadas road after leaving NH48 and before joining NH52. How much time to cover this patch of 20 kms? Shall we instead go to hubli bypass and join NH 52 from there?
He he he 😄 good question. I think it is the excitement of the trip helping me get up early. I am used to driving 5000-6000 KM trips across India so it became a habit. Being disciplined and adequate rest is important in such trips. If you like our vlog, please do subscribe to the channel.

Hello, nice video, a quick question to you. I am travelling to Siolim in north Goa. Do you still recommend this route or should I go all the way to Belgaum -> MH -> Goa or Dharwad -> Goa -> Ponda -> Siolim ? Hoping for a response :)
Good question, you need to choose between open 1. route I shared or Option 2. Belgaum - MH- Sonaval route. Option 1 definitely have smooth road conditions, especially from Karwar till Siolim but you need to cross through Goan towns slowing you down. Option 2 is shorter on paper but the roads are comparatively rough/bad. Avoid option 2 if you are crossing Belagavi after sunset. So choose between better road(option 1) and shorter distance (option 2). Would love to know what you choose and how the experience was. Have a safe drive! @@thewanderlusters5973Appreciate the quick response :) Subscribed. Have a friend who is from Belgaum. He suggested the Anmod ghat section and not via Belgaum. Will update based on how I go.

Yes, this is still the best route. A bridge at Karwar has collapsed so there is a diversion. So follow this video up to Yallapur and then follow Google maps. From where exactly you will return from North Goa?
@@thewanderlusters5973 thankyou for the update. it's Baga in North Goa we would be traveling back from. Also what your suggestion regarding bakapur- yellapur route ,it shows 30km less and 20 mins less.??
@shabby348 then you can take Ponda - Molen-Anmod - Dharwad bypass - Davangere - Bangalore route. A section of road after Anmod is not at its best, but this is the best available. Please subscribe to our channel if you find it useful.
In Google Maps, search for the route from Yellapur - Mulepal - Ankola, the ghat comes in this section of the journey. Hope this helps. Please subscribe to our channel if you like.

I have shared snippets of the map at 3:11, 8:42 and 10:05 of the video covering the different stretches of the route. The entire route is Bangalore - Chitradurga - Haveri- Tadas- Kalaghatgi - Yellapur - Karwar - Goa. I have shared the road conditions for each stretch. You can put these points in Google map when you drive.Hope this helps. Please subscribe to our channel if you like.

@@thewanderlusters5973 Thanks for Dandeli suggestions, looks beautiful. I have Ford Figo and not very experienced driver in ghat sections :) Planning to take this sunday Bangalore-> Goa route suggested in your video. Any inputs/suggestions ? Hope Figo is ok for this route.
