Hello Sir. I recommend you to try Mangalore- Udupi- Agumbe- Thirthahalli- Tarikere- Hiriyur- Tumkur- Bangalore. This route has a very good roads throughout
Payana in Kannada means Journey, very eager to visit there to view many vintage cars which also includes cars of many of our great personalities. Peaceful and Enjoyable vlog as always!! Jimny today has seen every variant of weather starting from Bangalore to Mangalore.
Fast trains would have the same effect and much safer than road and so much cheaper than fuel cost, like European countries, railways as usual no initiative, govt only no initiative despite how much tax they collect in blru
@19.47..... I see that Kripal has taken possibly the worst available number on his car...... 2272. That amounts to the unlucky number "13". Be careful...... Your fate is this car itself. 😢😢😢
I must admit that till last week I always thought Kripal Amanna was from Coorg, aka Kodagu. After seeing his Udupi Church video I realized that we are from the same place...... Oodoopeee. 😊😊😊
In highway, it is always good to drive at 60 kmph speed. 1) You get best mileage, 2) Best control on the car in case of parked cars on the road, animals etc. 3) Best control on anything external impacting on the car suddenly. 4) Less Wear and tear on the wheels, body of the car, Engine rings etc. 5) Lesser chance of car going out of control incase of a tyre burst. 6) Lesser body pain due to less vibration due to lower speed. 7) Enjoy the drive appreciating the scenery. 8) Less need to take the car for service after such a long drive. 9) Car control during rain and less skidding situation. 10) Less tension, peace of mind and value for money. . Drive 🚘 well. Live Happy. 😊😊😊
You rightly said about the driving on the expressway or even a highways. With many just wanting to zip thru ,without bothering or following lane discipline can be a cause of accident or inconvenience to the disciplined rule following drivers or riders. Truck drivers are notorious always being on the wrong lane. Car drivers many think, because they drive hi end cars, want to just drive speed and rash too. India may have good international standard highways being made, but what use if safety is not a priority for many who drive on these roads . Until we Indians change our attitude ,habit and have civic sense ,being in public places or driving through the best roads cannot be a good experience. We should learn and practicse to respect traffic rules , traffic discipline and honour other drivers driving besides .
Recently took this route very scenic and easy. Less stress. I’ll suggest one more route. Banglore - Hassan - Sringeri - Karkala(through kare katte ghat) - Udupi thank me later
u need to go Bangalore Hassan highway, take a detour towards Channarayapatna--->Holenarasipura-->Arakalgud---->Kushalnagar.-->Madikeri---->Sulya -->Puttur---->Mangaluru. Nice pristine narrow roads, no construction, no heavy trucks. Very relaxed driving
A further shorter route in the same direction is Bengaluru - Srirangapatna - KRS Road -Ilvala - Hunsur - Madikeri - Sampaje - Mangalore. This bypasses Mysore completely and saves time. Have been using this road for >15years now to go to Manipal. Last trip overnight was in 7hrs. Excellent road throughout, except the short stretch from Mani-BC Road which is under construction.
Mani to BC Road circle is pathetic, except that Bengaluru - Mysuru- Madikeri-Mani- Mangaluru route is superb in road condition. Off course Mysore to Madikeri it’s a patchy road, but mostly good to drive.
The good realization is that the Expressway is the best route to Udupi and Mangalore via Mysore. Though many friends answered..... Prayana is a word usually used for Journey/Travel. But, Payana is used in a poetic sense when using the journey of a lifetime Jeevana Payana, Snehada Payana, etc., and Yathre is used when it is more around Pilgrimage. The car museum was created by Dharmasthala Trust depicting the Journey of Four Wheelers and hence named after Payana. I suggest visiting this place for all the viewers as the entry fee is nominal and gives some breaks though it disappointed me in terms of the collection of cars (Because I felt my car inside). There is a Veg restaurant also "Hare Govinda" which provides good food/beverages.
I have taken this route before Mysore expressway was opened and it takes a lot of time due to narrow roads and traffic. But it is better than Shiradi Ghat route if you want a smooth ride on your car.
At 29:28, when you say.... 'If you are stuck behind *ST bus*'...... It shows you still have the effect of your stay in Maharashtra😂. Excellent travel details. Thank you for giving details of this route.
Good afternoon dear Kripal - Just through with a Celebratory lunch with my family on India’s memorable win in the finals of the T20 World Cup 🇮🇳🇮🇳🇮🇳 . Now to your vlog . As usual you love to go to Mangaluru given the smallest excuse needed to visit your Bastion 😀 Great that you have taken inputs from our fellow viewers. Very scenic view 👌👌 The granite hillocks are wonderful to watch. That’s the purpose of an expressway is to truncate the travel time and glad that they you enjoy riding on the B-M expressway. Yes let me watch that vlog and help jog my memory on your travel on this route . Excellent advice on Safe Driving on such Expressway which might tempt certain drivers to go overboard which is unsafe . Wonderful camera angles 👍 Payana means travelling from one place to the other . Wow the route is indeed beautiful. First pitstop at Hot Cup for a Cup of Coffee ☕️ Oh wow there is a Tibetan settlement en route . Images from Insta 360 rocks 👍👍 Yes the weather seems to be overcast . 268 Kms in 5 hours from home to Madikeri is a good time . Now for some lunch at Coorg Cuisine . Glad you had an excellent lunch at Coorg Cuisine . What was supposed to be just a lunch has turned into a GOTR vlog 😀😀 Look forward to that vlog . Was it a planned shoot ? Suddenly the weather has turned quite misty . Ok so you give this route a 👍 Time for some Tea at Hotel Mookambika along with a slice of Kalthapa along with Chutney 👍 I agree Charmadi route is more scenic. I have watched both the earlier vlogs on the Charmadi and Shiradi . I thoroughly enjoy all your Sunday special Motovlogs or Drives . Thoroughly enjoyed this vlog . Because of your commentary while you are driving we get to know so many new things about places , routes , pros & cons . Fantastic dear Kripal 💯💯💯 Take care and God Bless 😇 Wishing you a Happy Sunday . Loads of Love & Respect 🤗🤗🤗❤️❤️❤️
Your safety grumble about driving is very relevant! control of your own car is linked not only to your own speed but also of others in case of a tight situation
@Kripal Ji "PaYaNA" is the Kannada word for "Journey" Stress is on the final syllable Na....the NA is pronounced similar to the kannada word 'DarshaNA' or 'LakshaNA', etc!
Hi, Thank you for sharing drive experience on different routes from Bangalore - Udupi. I recently travelled to udupi 3 weeks back and came back to bangalore last week. As a not so experienced driver, while going to udupi i travelled via Charmadi ghat. We felt the entire journey as smooth, did not get tired at all till we reached udupi. While coming back 1 week back, surprisingly we chose the same route to reach bangalore (udupi- Puttur- Sampaje- Mysore bangalore). But we felt a lot tired when reached bangalore. I would like to mention the following points to the reader before choosing madikeri mysore route: 1. Kalladka road is under construction, which gives you tiredness in the begining of your journey. 2. Sampaje Ghat is super easy as there are no much sharp pins and not so deep. So easy to ascend. 3. But roads around madikeri is very narrow with curves and difficult for me as a new driver specially if it is raining 4. Though many people say it os smooth, There were more than hundreds of humps on the way from madikeri to mysore, giving enough works to your legs making it tired. I could not use cruise control features efficiently on this route. At certain points i felt i could not get the best performance of my car during this route journey. so watchout for those humps In my opinion i felt Charmadi route is smooth, I can travel at a constant speed in entire journey, making use of cruise control giving enough rest to legs.
Sir have a pitstop in Neralakatte, there is a hotel called Sadguru which is on the right side of the highway (just before reaching mani, which is nearly 10km from Puttur) this hotel is a hidden gem, not many food reviewers have gone to this hotel
Great video and subscribed to this channel. In last Nov, we drove from BOM > Coorg > BOM via Hubli and Chikmagalur in our new VW Taigun. It was serious fun.
It helps if you can also pass some advice on the speed restrictions on Mysore expressway. Many times, the speed limit switches between 80kmph and 100kmph. One should be mindful and keep an eye on the speed limit. Else, be ready to cough out 1000Rs up every violation. 😀.
I enjoy your Vlogs a lot, but the pronunciation of towards is not tuwurds it is twowurds. I find it very jarring to hear that from you. Carry on your good work. I really enjoy it.
Now Kodava cuisine is available in all towns unlike before. Bendoota in Kushalanagar, there are 3 to 4 more in Madikeri other than Coorg Cuisine. Cuisine Papera in Gonikoppa and Umbala Mane in Virajpet.
That was nice. But I had a feeling more than the scenic route, we have been watching only your face. You can give your voiceover and show the roads more.
Hi This episode is very nice. If you are coming back on the same way, in Puttur near Shri Mahalingeshwara Temple, there is a hotel called Shri HariPrasad. Do an episode on that hotel sir. Really nice. Evening snacks and other things will be very nice. Really good one.
I AGREE WITH U. PUBLIC IN INDIA SHOULD LEARN TRAFFIC RULES. AFTER SEEING UR CLIP I FEEL SAMPAJE ROUTE IS GOOD. PLANNING TO TAKE THIS ROUTE ON MY NEXT TRIP TO MANGALORE. THANKS ALOT FOR THE UPDATE. HATS OFF TO YOU
Payana is a halekannada word which translates to travel. Prayana is what we use in normal day to day life. Kripal avare Kudos to you for sharing your knowledge and creating awareness on driving sense of your viewers. Most road accidents are due to lack of these diver awareness.
sir try travelling through agumbe ghat - roads are bit narrow but its drive able - also there is one more ghat called hulikal ghat to reach kundapura and udupi, Also if you want to try drive through kalasa kudremukha road to reach udupi its a longer route but a scenic route
I am from hunsur ,you should have gone to hunsur Tiffanys near to new bus stand and tried masala dosa or should have gone to devi prasad and tried the same ,all ways watch your videos ,nice keep going
Sir your mangalore, udupi, videos are like healing or meditation for us. I live in Dubai, I miss the greenery a lot. Keep up the good work. Much love and God bless ❤
