BOX STOCK Amazing first session Arrma got it right with this RTR first two packs through the truck. No damages at all completely stock. All stock electronics just geared up to a 17 T which is a little too much. The truck did not get hot but it did have a little bit of a stutter from time to time, I think a 16t would be perfect. I think rubber shock bushings can take away a lot of stress and prevent damage. This EXB genuinely looks like the best RTR basher

Or the rubber will allow movement and the shock of that movement will jam into Standoffs and kill em?? Not sure, I understand both schools of though. Only time will tell if dudes are killing Standoffs then we know🤔🤔 bash on bro

That’s a good point. I just didn’t want to take the chance on breaking standoffs my first session out the force of that shock cap jamming into the standoff. I feel will snap the standoff but who knows like Dennis said time will tell.

Lol like the video bud! I myself had the aarma granite 1/0 4x4 truck, but it was brushed bk then, it was still fun! I jus had a hyper go 1/16 scale 4x4 buggy. Tht thing ripped as well

Thanks bro much appreciated. I’m just lucky my wife doesn’t have a problem with it and lets me do what I do. I’m a grown ass man and my parents still come over and bitch about it that I play with toys at almost 50 years old 😆 I must say on your latest video that one or two Sideview shots you did I don’t know who it was that was jumping it look like that new kraton so maybe rich but that’s the shot you guys need to get more often holy shit that was up there😱. @@AldoLoyal we get shit for being big kids and I’ll be one until the day I die. Luckily my wife likes it because she doesn’t worry that I’m out at the bars with the boys. I wish she came out with us more. Those shots definitely show the perspective of how high we are launching them. I think those shots were Rich jumping with the new kraton 6s and one with the sledge xl(jackhammer). The orange darling shots where me Jumping. My rigs went down early on one of the bashes and he loaned me orange darling. Orange darling is special bro he has that beast so dialed in. Happy bashing bro!

That’s awesome dude this new K6 EXB is one of a kind already has most of the upgrades that you typically would do to a basher not much needed on this truck. I picked this truck up from my LHS just before Christmas and it's for sure the best truck I have ever driven bone stock. But I did break the wing mount.. I disabled AVC (rebind the radio and it disables it) because it's super annoying and added an AFGRC servo.. the steering radius was super weird with AVC enabled and I put the same AFGRC servo in all my trucks so just did it.. now it steers perfect. And... wow can I come over and drive my trucks at your place?? omg... RC heaven over there man lol! Love the videos..

I haven’t ran into a problem with the Servo yet I did link this truck up with my RC8X radio but the new Servo and Servo saver feels strong for now, but I typically go with a perfectpass monster servo been running those since he released them, and only had issues with one that’s not bad. appreciate your time brother. @@AldoLoyal NP! Yeah Perfect Pass are made by AFGRC, one of their flagship units, I believe and are about the best servo for these trucks you can get. The AFGRC servo I like was 20% the day after I got the trucks so I couldn't pass that up lol. That said the stock one is FAR the best out of the box servo I have used though.. for sure. I think the AVC was causing all the issues. Once I disabled that all was good. I was thinking about a new radio until I disabled that heh. Alright well happy new year. Bash on sir!

@creditrazer981 I've been running my 6s exb for a couple of months now. I beat on this truck harder than anything I've ever had. This thing is a tank. I'm to the point of almost trying to break it because I know it will take the abuse. The only damage was a cracked upper arm and pulled threads on one of the wheel nuts.

Sweet bro I’ve got the K4 as well and I run it on a 6S system my only damages I’ve had with the truck is blowing out the rear hubs on hard and landings. Other than that it’s been pretty solid. If you like that little truck you’ll love this one.

Man I thought the arrma kraton had already been perfected a long time ago in terms of the "rtr" release combined with the "exb" man but damn those boys really got it as good as I believe it can get for a sub 1k rtr. The keaton is the best all around basher platform in general but out of the box?!? This v2 is where it's at for sure. I've gotta get myself a couple of those rear skid plates from CRCU also as it just seems to do the job that there really aren't too many other options out there for... maybe I'll get a titanium one as well for an additional spark to my on rd running with the good old talion. Thanks so much bro the Kraton has always been an awesome car but Arrma stepped it up to a level it’s going to be hard to compete with those CRCU skid plates are definitely the shit if you’re not wanting to upgrade the whole chassis the titanium one is awesome. I’ve got sparks on my dirt jumps from hitting rocks, it’s just a good option to throw on your chassis to get a little more life out of it and I appreciate all the support brother and happy bashing🚀💪🤩🤘👊

I got one and snapped upper & lower arms (passenger side) in 10 mins 🤣 Smacked a rock at probably 40mph. Luckily I was cheap to fix and she’s back to ripping. I grabbed the M2C front and rear hinge pin kit cuz the stock front pin bent massively on that crash too. But all-in-all… she’s a ripper 👍

Thank you so much Rich. I’m very impressed with this a RTR from Arrma and the power from this new v2 system is just amazing. It was cool out that day but the temps of the ESC and motor were perfect and I was over geared 17t. I drop down to a 16t. It should be fine. Hopefully the stock electronics hold up for a while. Really had fun with this one. I definitely needed that. And that rear skid helps out quite a bit but eventually she will definitely need and get some M2C love have a great 2024 brother 🚀💪💪🤩🤘👊

Thanks, dude glad you’re enjoying the videos. This truck is pretty stock for me. All I did was a few minor tunings and added a skid on the back of the chassis and some wheel nuts, but I will be upgrading the power system soon.

Your channel is great man! Have you ever had issues running soft packs, Punctures from rocks or just the force of those hits? Everyone always says it's better to run hard packs for hard bashing and rc road car stuff in general. Any thoughts? Thanks

I try to stay away from hard packs they seem to get hotter and swell up more and once they swell up, they usually don’t go back down and the pack is destroyed but with soft packs If they do happen to swell a lot of times they will go back to their normal form honestly I haven’t had much problems with the soft packs unless I take an extremely bad crash and the Lipo comes out. The main thing is just to make sure your Lipos are secured properly and have padding around them, the bottom and the sides are the most important and have good Lipo straps and you’ll be fine with soft packs. Most guys that I know that are really really pushing their cars hard are running soft packs.

⁠ thanks, super helpful! How are you padding the the sides? Do you just stick some foam cutouts to the sides of the tray? If you could show a close up in your breakdown, that would be great. I have issues with my soft packs sticking out past the chassis on my kraton 6s, leaving it exposed from the bottom. Thanks man 🤘

@@pizzomedia7261 I run small packs, 4000 and 5000 Mah They don’t even stick out of the battery tray maybe find some smaller packs and I use yoga mat for padding.

@@AldoLoyal thanks, this is helpful! I'm only running 5200 powerhobby batteries, but probably should find something smaller. I also just watched one of your shorts where you said to move the kraton 6s battery tray back to avoid catastrophic failure. I'm guessing you were talking about keeping that battery more protected in a hard nose dive. Hopefully some of these 3rd party companies make a protective battery tray compartment. 6s hard packs are hard to come by anyway and expensive. Thanks man!

Thanks man this truck is pretty awesome. Don’t need a bunch of upgrades. on those diffs I don’t have much problem with them. The way I set them up. I still run the plates and I run 60 to 80,000 in the front 500,000 to 1,000,000 in the center depending on the weight of the car. in the rear I run 30 to 60,000 the heavier cars get the heavier fluid along with shaming the differentials I usually do not have an issue

@@bencruzjr1221 that’s awesome dude congratulations on the RC. This truck doesn’t need much more than a battery and go out and run it. I would just go over the truck make sure all the screws nuts and bolts are tight if you want to take it a step farther open up your differentials and make sure they’re full of fluid, the shocks are usually pretty good for the most part but if you want, you can check those as well if you know how to set shocks up but there’s plenty of videos out there on the Internet that shows how to open up those differentials and do your shocks as well I don’t do too many how to videos only because of the edits I don’t like a bunch of dead space in my videos so for me that would take a lot of time in edits with a lot of footage. I’m willing to walk you through anything you need if you want to hit me up on FB.

Nice bash! What a ripper straight outta the box. Got sloppy on my 1st run and snapped off the rear wing and ripped off the rear arm / bent the hinge pin. Owned the breakage like Duperbash says, fixed it and just had two awesome bashes. Epic rig from Arrma. Interested on your thoughts how this compares to the Kagama after some run time. Remember you saying the Kagama durability is very close to old EXB roller but with the RTR?

Awesome dude nice to hear somebody owning up for the damages instead of blaming the car Rich is a solid dude for sure. I need to get some more runtime with this one to really put down my honest opinion, but right now I would have to give it to this truck the Kegama is pretty sweet, but it’s a light truck. I like to have a little weight behind me when I’m trying to get distance on my jumps and honestly I have more in my kagama than I do this one. For the money you’re getting one hell of a deal with the kraton

This car handles great but XL is a different animal it’s able to handle and hold down more power and a little bit slower on the reaction time compared to this one. I like my XL‘s but I love the handling of this car I think a little better.

What’s up, man? The Maxx is a super tough truck. This K6 the new one is rock solid for the most part. It might not be as durable as a Maxx but you’re never gonna crack a chassis so there’s that that’s a big one. It handles 100% better so if you’re wanting something that sticks to the ground and you can put the power down And fly like no other than this is your truck

What’s up man I would definitely get this car. It needs very little upgrades if any at all and it’s a very tough basher the big rock it’s a little heavy. If you’re planning on doing any kind of jumps and stuff it’s gonna take quite a bit of upgrades.

Yes I have. I have them on my jackhammer build my sledge XL. I like them I just like the vitavon case is a little better. But for the money you can’t beat the Treal bulkheads

How do you tighten the brake? I had to increase the brake % on mine because I felt it was weak at the default setting so I increased it to 50% with the programming box. Is that what you mean by tighten the brake?

What’s up dude thanks for the comment. I think pretty much. Everything is interchangeable for the most part. There might be a few things that won’t switch over unless you swap out the whole assembly like the tower to tower. I believe the new wing mount will work as well.

That’s awesome dude congratulations on the new RC. I personally go over the whole truck before I run it. You don’t have to pull the differentials all the way apart, but I definitely would pull the cap and make sure there’s fluid in there as long as it’s full just put it back together. Tighten all your screws and you should be good to go.

What’s up man👊 I haven’t found a good belted tire yet. The ones I have found that hold good power are the power hobby roosters but they’re a paddle tire so I wouldn’t recommend them but you get good traction and they don’t come apart. Honestly the 6S backflips hold pretty good on this truck

Yeah you can but this ESC was supposed to be fixed already. It came directly from Horizon. The box was open when I got it and honestly it might’ve just been me since I haven’t ran an RC in three weeks.

I definitely don’t have any plans on upgrading at the moment. No reason to I have a feeling the CVD’s will be the first upgrade besides the hexes I’ve already put on And rear chassis brace i’m even going to keep the stock electronics in it as long as possible. The car is just perfect not much more I can say about it very impressed with what Arrma did with this one hopefully we get an Outcast EXB BLX 6S RTR how awesome would that be 🤩🤩💪💪🤩🤩

I know this video is a couple weeks old but I'm hoping someone see's it and can help. I am having the most difficult time deciding on the getting the Kraton EXB 6s or the Corraly Kagama. What do you suggest? There's also a 6s Outcast EXB locally I'm considering if I can get him to drop the price enough.

Both the K-6 and the Kegama are awesome trucks. I ran both of those cars today. If you’re in the US I would suggest the K6 only because Parts support is much better but if you’re able to get parts easy, then get the Kegama but they’re both awesome trucks. That’s a hard one. I favored the Kraton over any other RC so I might not be the best person to ask.

I would take this every day over the kagama, but don’t get me wrong. I like the kagama it has its place. It might sound funny to say, but running both of these cars. This one feels so much better with the extra weight it just handles so much better. The Kagama is fast and more of a track car than a big air basher there’s not enough weight behind it to get real distance and I’m afraid if we start putting the upgrades to it chassis towers bulkheads, she will start to fail. The kraton is just the king all around.💪🚀🤩
