We were just at Creekside RV Park a couple of weeks ago and loved it. We spent 2 weeks there and will definately go back. Safe travels and keep it between the ditches.

Hello guys. We have been to Anchor Down RV Resort 3 times now. We just love that place. It is right on Douglas Lake and the view are fantastic there. The only thing is you almost have to get you reservations in a year to more in advance to get the prime spots up on the hill. Those are sites 20 - 29. It is about a 10 to 15 minute drive to all the main attraction you were talking about. We are heading down that way most likely in 2022 for the prime site we love. Safe travels out there guys.

Good review. I usually stay at Riveredge RV and Cabins. My stay was different because I usually stay in their "camping cabins" which have no bathrooms. Very reasonable price, they allow pets in the "camping cabins" and their bathhouses are 5*!

We have stayed twice at Creekside..........The owners were a pleasure to deal with and it worked out great for us using the trolley because both our stays were before we had our tow. A bonus was it was a Passport America Park...........our first stay it was four nights at half price although our second stay was only one night, but we would stay again because of the owners. We agree the spots are a bit close to each other but nice.

Any good dispersed camping (boondocking) near there? No kids, no noise, no kitchen sink, no pink flamingo, no drama. I got an off-road micro trailer for sleeping only, so I will dig my own hole just like in Afghanistan. Oh, one more thing. First time seeing your video, and it is great. No shaky video, no obnoxious music, no interruption by kids or anything. Thank you.

I was not a fan of Pigeon forge. I plan on staying in another area next time. Those spaces are tight. I am spoiled with state park sites. Grand Adventure stayed at a spacious park. You should check that out, We were going to stay there but met up with William from Camper Life instead. Riverside where we stayed had their own wifi- no extra charge. We want trees for shade. It was a hot week there. I'm surprised camp store was open. Salt water pool is neat. Trolley drives through park? Boy, you guys like your wash your RV. haha The creek area looked the same as ours. I was so disappointed that we couldn't find recycling anywhere in the area. Wow. Ours was cheaper. So disappointed we didn't get to meet up. Next time. Alice

That's the great thing, people like different things about RV'ing. That place is nice, but would be too close to neighbors for us. Of course we don't need full hookups and enjoy the countryside more than the city spot, also. I like your list. It works for you and that idea should work for just about anyone. I like to check aerials to see how close the sites are.

Seems like I have been in this spot before. lol I agree most of the campgrounds here are pretty tight. Yeah when it gets full the cell service slows down in the area. The one I was tell you about has a massive dog park. Yes the RV car washes are great. We love that part. Yeah most of the parks in the main area are heavily watched to keep the campgrounds clean. I agree for the price you can find something better if you book early. Great review. If you wonder about other campgrounds let me know. Jason on the camera getting it done. lol

Looks like a great location! Yeah the state parks have larger spaces, but you are so close to town there, so there's a trade off. Glad you had laundry facilities, trolley, and internet. We agree totally with your review.....sites were tight and close together but to be honest we went to see the smokie mountains and the National park so we were barely at our campsite so for the price I would definitely stay there again

Can you do a video of how you hookup and unhook your trailer with your toad when you get to an RV Park. Or do you park at pull thru's when you travel with the toad trailer? Thanks for the videos!

We use to like staying at Cherokee KOA in Cherokee NC. It's on the other side of the Smoky Mountains national park. However it is very expensive. $98 a night for us. It's a nice park but most of the attractions are on the other side of the park. Since I am one who plans well ahead I would choose something in Pigeon Forge but not that one.

It's been awhile, so honestly we don't even remember. We only stayed there because it was last minute. We know there are some new ones that we want to check out for when we go back but don't know the names yet.
