I bought the 5000 LT. Any pointers on a good 7 foot rod i could pair with it? I fish saltwater mainly for fish like stripers and blues..sometime seabass and blacks. Looking for a 2 piece rod. Thanks.
Your best option is to take it into your local tackle shop and put it on a bunch of different rods and see which one it balances best with. I’m a big fan of St. Croix rods. They should have several good options. Legend trek comes to mind. Made in the US and they have a great warranty.
Hello Lateral Media , can you tell me the Daiwa 21 Certate SW 8000 is good quality . i want to buy one but some one said the gear material is very bad , so i m scare .Thank you for your time.
I'd have to agree with you man when it comes to daiwa, I use to always fish my shimano reels but now that I have a certate I hardly touch my stradics now lol
@@_LateralMedia_ Yeah you're right, the only way to understand is to feel it in your own hands. It's so smooth couldn't believe it when I first tried it. I dont know why you would bother getting any of the higher end shimanos when this can be bought in the $350 range and is smoother than all of them. It's going to be hard to one up this reel for me honestly lol
Magseal thing kills it along with poor spool lip desgine n locomotive line system management , still (one )of the best for me n alot . Yet it’s not for me.
Let's just be real dude you couldn't afford the saltiga like the rest of us so you settled for a certate lol. There's no shame in saying you didn't want to pay $1,000 for a spinning reel. Although I almost bit the bullet and bought last year.
@@_LateralMedia_ I'll agree on that but saltigas made for the really big boys with aluminum spools. I think it's got more ball bearings too around the main shaft like the exist. But your right the lighter spool makes a huge difference.
@@_LateralMedia_ I have bunch of daiwas, luvias, certate sw, bg mq... My Saltist MQ 6000 is the smoothest of them all. Never felt a reel like it. Regardless these new MQ reels run very nice
