I always buy Spigen cases because they have protected each and every phone that I have owned in the last few years. For the S23 Ultra I have gotten the Spigen Optik Armor and the moveable shutter is great for protecting all the cameras, especially in the case of a fall.
The UAG case is the best in my opinion, and the random high groove on the side has been put there for holding the phone sideways. Your thumb will rest in here lovely when watching film, I am definitely buying one
I never get any other cases than Pitaka since S9. I cannot remember how many times I have dropped my phones without getting any screen cracks. I don't know how but they protect phones really well.
I never det black phones or cases because if you sit the phone down it can get lost in the background. Both phones that I have lost got found because the color stood out and someone noticed it on the ground and on the shelf for the second phone. The phones I lost were all black phone.
Why wasn't the Otterbox Defender Pro case included in this "Premium" case review? At $65 per case and maximum protection, I feel that should have been 1 of these cases that were reviewed. Just my 2 cents.
I actually like this case but you are right it is too expensive that i don t wanna give money. But this case is the only case that you can use with screen protector for samsung s23 ultra.Because its screen corners don t get protected by case. There won t be any bubles on the screen protector.
I hate how hardly any of the main case companies are doing precise camera cutouts. Yes there is a lip, but what use is that when you drop the phone on a rock in that camera corner and it hits glass. My $7 Amazon case has precise cutouts.
I think a lot of people who buy these large high end phones, do so to watch media on them. For that reason a kickstand is almost mandatory. After I tried a case with one, I'll never be without it.
Best case ever owned in all phones I had, Samsung official green leather for my current green 23 ulra, it kind feel skin as its a case. First time ever, it feels equally comparable to naked phone
Bought the speck and thinking about the uag Pathfinder the speck is minimal but gets the buttons right, rounds off the device for perfect in hand feel. Only thing wrong with it is it does not have MAGSAFE
That verse of the day widget looked cool honestly, how is the speck as far as protection? I already have a pitaka case that I’m gonna use when I’m off but I need something while I’m working just in case I drop my phone I mean nothing crazy. I always use UAG but this year they introduced a MagSafe case and I bought it but I have crack my screen like 3 times already just from dropping my phone waist high and usually they make awesome cases , I also have the Kevlar from UAG that one is good tho except the Kevlar starts to come up
I got myself the caudabe sheath for the s23 ultra, and its the best case for me! Fits all around, beautiful cutouts at the camera and fits camera protectors, and microfibre lining on the inside! So good i got it in both amethyst (purple) and black 😊
Wao all looks so tough, powerful protection (except the first one), and also premium! Meanwhile I'm using a clear case that worth only 11MYR from Lazada, it does ok too :D
@@jeradhilltech it's back is like silicon? also grippy? I mean not only sides but also back is not sliding on surfaces? Do the bezel around cameras is higher than the rest of the back surface of the case, so it won't lay leveled on the table?
@9Nickko It is not silicone, it's a rubberized finish on top of a plastic backing. It does lay flat on its back, no rocking whatsoever. So, yes, its back is completely flat, cameras lenses stay below the case.
For me, the cases that are in my rotation for my S23 Ultra and 14 Pro; D-Brand, Spigen Rugged Armor, Mous, Parallax and the ESR camera kickstand version.
@@jeradhilltechI don't like those thin cases those are for queer boys I'm not queer I want the most durable case for this device I don't care the way it looks I'm not trying to impress anybody
I have a speck case recently bought it couple days ago. It's clear with glitter specks on it, let me tell you i love it but damn it's hard to remove from the phone. Geesh like why
You're not getting protection from Pitaka or definitely not the Latercase. I screwed up & bought both & immediately put them back in the box. I have 1 case & it's the $50 Carbon Fiber/ Red Trim CaseBorne ArmadilloTek. It doesn't scratch your sides like others do & provides great protection & feel. Works with all wireless chargers that I've used & goes into pocket easy. I do like some shown. 🤟
The only case here I'd consider is the speck presidio. All the others look like a sure way to end up with a broken screen. I'll stick with my i-blason & poetic spartan cases because they really offer premium protection for around $25 each.
I finally pulled the trigger and ordered the s23 ultra. Original plan was to order it on launch, but the price was way higher than I expected (after the discounts blah blah blah). Now they offered a free watch 5 pro, around 200€ off and a free wireless charging pad. Total came to be 819€ for a red 256 gb model. The watch 5 pro made me do it cause I was thinking about getting one anyways so here we are waiting for the new beauty to arrive.
@@jeradhilltech This year yeah! Last year it was the opposite tho. I ordered the s22 ultra right away and the deals were unbelievable that time. It has never been so cheap ever since that. Now its time for my s22u to go and the s23u to replace it, heh.
That seems a great deal in europe. Can you please share with me where you got it? I'm thinking of pulling the trigger but the best deal I'm seeing is 1000€ just for the phone and charger. Thanks
@@pedromorais8709 Hey, it was straight from Samsung (The Finnish site). The deal ended about 12 hrs ago, but I've got to admit that I f'd up a bit. Even though the deal I got was really good, I could've gotten the 512gb model for the same price if I had used the extra "BUYNOW" coupon code, which I forgot to do :/ Anyways, as much as it hurts now, Im still going to be happy with the 256gb/8gb model cause thats more than I need
Can you reccomend a good screen protector brand, please? My S23 Ultra will be FedExed today and I wannna hava that extra level of protection with the Pitaka case
@omaruriza505 i would recommend the Whitestone dome glass, its kinda pricey but its worth it, right now im not using a scren protector, coz my hands are always dry, fingerprint never work for me with a screen protector
I pre-ordered that Pitaka for my S23 Ultra and I absolutely love it. Hate the fingerprints but I just wash it soapy water and it looks like new, for a day...
Do you use screen protector with the pitaka case? I hate the feel with the screen protector with it when i use my pitaka case, especially on the sides, you feel the edge of the screen protector
@@dOwn_sHift_mike Nothing so far, but I am mindful of not putting it screen down on things or making sure nothing else is in the pocket that i put it in. Ive also had my S20 Ultra from when they were announced and was rocking it no screen protector, and skin only. No scratches or chips on either to date.
Composite cases are the only cases I buy. At least you get your money's worth. Dont care about magnetic charging. Terrible for the planet and speeds up degradation of your expensive to replace battery.
I believe it's the complete opposite. Magsafe ensures the perfect charging position every time meaning no wasted heat or energy. It's so easy just sticking it on the charger and not worrying about if it's in the right position or not
@Brashaad Taylor while magnetic charging is definitely more efficient than standard wireless charging it's still losing substantial efficiency (completely wasted electricity). That's staggering in aggregate when you sit down and calculate all of the people who are now only charging magnetically or wirelessly. Even a 10% loss of efficiency is bonkers in the mega tons of wasted coal used to run most American power plants. A And the bottom line is that wasted efficiency just means you're losing charging cycles over the course of expensive battery's life. I looked over a spreadsheet once from researcher who calculated that if you completely avoided wireless charging, only used rapid charging when you actually needed it as in rarely used, avoided draining your battery below 20% and avoided charging above 70% that you could keep a typical smartphone battery above 70% of its original capacity for over 10 years. And I don't doubt if as I more or less followed these rules on my previous phone and at the end of the 3 year contract with Verizon my battery capacity was still near 90%.
@@JacobWhyDontYouPutOnALiLMakeup I guess for phone cases these are sold as Aramid or genuine carbon fiber (and not just carbon fiber looking). Samsung sell a pretty durable Aramid case. And off brand sellers online sell copies of that case at half the price. Best is to buy second hand and save the some waste.
@@jeradhilltechwhen I mention this on other RU-vid videos no one answers. As I understood magnets can cause issues. For example a powerful magnet can wipe a hard drive on PC.
The best Amazon rating is 4.5. Are you kidding me, these cases suck and cost more. Why hasn’t anyone addressed the fact that most of these cases don’t even fit?
Send this case back because don't charge with my apple magsafe. But is a fine case. Now i have de mous case, same problem don't charge with apple magsafe.
Pataka case scks!!! No protection at all check out those edges drop it on concrete and see what happens to your glass. LOL!!!! Joke of a case. UAG better choice I mean 1300.00 phone rather protect the investment
