for those who are wondering, you can use any gravity block except dragon egg and if ur looking for an alternarive option for endrods, lighting rods is another great alternative and much cheaper than the end rods

if you dont like logging out too just build this in the nether and go through a portal and then come back through it works the same way just no logging out for people who have big worlds that take awhile to load

Pro tip: if you dont feel like getting silk touch for packed ice and beating the games just for endrods you should try the following trust me ive tried this and it works. For packed ice you just use normal blocks all you hve to do is a little bit of running to the machine and it'll just be there. For endrods, just use lightning rods. Note: this dupe works on blocks thats affected by gravity like anvils and even dragon eggs

I build one farm like this before that was pretty hard to build and it failed i was pretty disappointed but i find this farm that was pretty similar to the old one i build so i decided to rework it using the old material and the item in the vidio and it works thank you so much for this tutorial man 😂🎉🎉

Tip for Realms.. I would adhere to all the recommended steps mentioned.. But I found that flying away at least a few chunks away from the Farm and returning to the AFK spot, works better than exiting the world and rejoining. I can even let the farm spam for more than a few minutes and get at least half a double chest full of sandstone.. There is more Lag.. but I have the older Xbox one S and it works on the realm. . . but it could just be me.. the usual method does as intended.. but It seems like.. it only works for me in the Afternoon.. I thought maybe it cause the rest of the Family is using the Wifi and so it might hinders my connection.. which might aid to the Lag.. idk.. but FLying away works every time for me

If the sand falls out in the back, it worked for me to extend the ice, lever, fence gate one block. So four ice, four rows of levers and three rows of lower fence gates and the last one raised as in the video. Then all the sand is collected

So quick question , this farm can run if the sim is larger than 4 chunks correct? Im just Curious if this farm would still run properly if sim was 6 or is this farm was made to at 4 sim . I ask because I'm on a server and we just recently fixed it from 4 sim to 6 because spawn distance is still bugged making the nether harder than it needs to be ( ye its a real big bug that's been around since 1.16. 2 and it only affects sim distance 4 )

Works perfectly on 1.5 gb big realm with ps5 on simulation distance 4 ,although there isnt that much lag, the game is still calculating after you caught the sand, coz i couldnt open shulkers nor my inventory , so i recommend to restart the realm again

Either do a wool farm and get an addon that allows you to craft string from wool or get a spider farm. Bedrock Tweaks has an addon for crafting string from wool.

In My case I used only 7-8 redstone repeater maybe more less than it. Signal was delaying to reach at the piston then sand started to falling down that's why I will suggest you to use at least 10-12 repeater

I made it but its not working. My simulation distance is set to 4. Chunk is perfectly aligned. I checked everything but not working. The sand does get duplicated and breaks but doesnt become an item. Please suggest what can i do to fix it .

Don't bother doing a creeper farm, their less efficient than farming Ghasts with a looting 3 sword in his Ghast farm video. I got 3 stacks of gunpowder and 1 stack of ghast tears in 5 mins plus ghasts can't shoot at you. Check his Ghast farm video.

Of course yes, the texture is just to facilitate locating a chunk since the farm does or does have to be done within those 5 chunks shown in the video since if you do it randomly It will break very easily or it will not work

@@angelsprez3758 but I guess you have to use end rods. In my current world I have not gone to the End yet and if I go to the fortress in Nether I will probably die because all Blazes and Wither skeletons

@@MrKartonkiGood tip is to have fire resistance to neutralize blaze attacks and to block off corridors on junctions and after blocking them so wither skeletons can't cut corners to kill you just look at what corridor has in it. Easy way to not die in the fortress. Plus bow to kill off any wither skeletons that are blocking your way and can be easily sniped.
