I love this variety of Jasmine so much, i’ve had mine for six years now and it’s huge! I keep it in the garage during the winter and it pulls through beautifully. It’s one of my favorite scents.
I completely agree, it is one of my favourite scents too. You should try also Jasminum grandiflorum and Jasminum azoricum, they smell absolutely great!!!
My friend your videos are fantastic. No other reviewers in the U.K or for that matter, any english speaking countries give such fantastic reviews about scented plants. Please make a video about Jasminum azoricum. And if you could point us to where we can buy it from. It is not available anywhere is the U.K. I am in the hunt for the best scented jasmines/flowers in the U.K. and so far you are the best source of information for this. Please don’t stop
Thanks very much again for the very nice comments. I saw once a plant of Jasminum azoricum for sale at B & Q in the UK, maybe if you contact them they can check with their supplier if there is any in stock. I will make a video about Jasminum azoricum as soon as it blooms
I have also this plant on my terrace. It's my favorite flower . The perfume is soo rich and floral and mysterious more greener than the jasminum grandiflorum.
My grandiflorum didn't bloom yet, I also have other sambac varieties that didn't bloom yet so I am really looking forward to the blooming and their fragrance... Enjoy your sambac :D
i have bought most of the scented flowering plants you have reviewed so far and I haven’tbeen disappointed . I think i share the same taste as you when it comes to flower scents. I can’t wait for the next video about jasmines lol. All the best my friend. A piece of advice. If you can improve your video editing just a little bit, you would be the biggest plant reviewer worldwide. And let’s see your face, people love the person behind the product. It is the biggest selling point of any successful product. Be the steve jobs of plants. Don’t sell yourself short. You are a tasteful individual and people will appreciate that. Peace, all the best
Thanks very much also for the idea about improving my videos, unfortunately I shoot my videos alone so it is difficult to get me and my plants in the same frame as I am always worried the plants and flowers are out of focus, but I agree with a good program of video editing I can shoot different videos and then combine them together in one video. I will make my best for improving the next videos, cheers
i have a 10 year old sambac maid of Orleans , also night blooming jasmine cestrum nocturnum , which is not a true jasmine but smell absolutely beautiful, i had a sambac grand duke of Tuscany but sadly it died , mine all came from Turkey , i also have a jasmine that grows vigorously but is not hardy so i have to keep it trimmed back to keep it in the house over winter . thank you for your advise and long live our jasmines
you are very welcome, it is a pity that Jasminum sambac is not winter hardy in most of Europe, but in cold climates makes a wonderful scented indoor plant
Wonderful video,....I love LOVE fragrant flowers. I would like to buy the Jasmine Sambac you talked about. Where can I buy this plant in the UK please? Thank you
thanks very much... there are a few sellers on eBay that sell young plants. Alternatively, you can buy from Paramount Plants, they sell very big specimens, so they are quite expensive www.paramountplants.co.uk/plant/jsaj/jasminum-sambac-arabian-jasmine.html
Hello, I don't sell it, but there is a seller online in the UK, unfortunately it is very expensive but he sells a big plant so I suppose the price is justified www.paramountplants.co.uk/plant/jsaj/jasminum-sambac-arabian-jasmine.html
Hello, I bought the plant that is now in bloom from Vivai Malvarosa, as mentioned in the description of the video (I put also the link in the de scription) , it is a nursery in Italy specialising in Jasmines and Pelargoniums. However I bought another sambac jasmine two years ago from a nursery in the UK, Hayloft.co.uk, the plant from Hayloft is a lot smaller, but being a British nursery, the shipping will be a lot quicker, because after Brexit the paperwork checks is very time consuming (can take up to several weeks and the plants in the box risk to die). However if you love jasmines in particular, I think that Vivai Malvarosa has the widest range of species and varieties you can find throughout Europe
I wish in the UK we had more Gardenia species... here the only one I can find is Gardenia jasminoides, even if there are several varieties available for this species
