This is an outstanding bit of content - essential viewing for anyone buying a scope in Airsoft. I learned a lot here and I started shooting with both firearms and replicas 13 years ago…
This video was/is hands down the best bit of advice for airsoft sniping I’ve ever come across and this cleared up so many things I’ve been having issues with 😅 keep the videos coming we can all benefit a lot from tips and tricks to become better players great video 🔥🔥🔥👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
More of this style of content please along with gameplay vids. No other major sniper channels are doing this and you present the information really clearly and articulately Ed, so think this could be a really cool new direction for the channel! Keep up the great work!
I installed this optic on a crossman 760 air rifle.I have now shot the riffle around 500 times during target/plinking practice, and the ru-vid.comUgkxc4K63Fd5LglDMObu7-Bgapxp_ef0W8hE scope has done well. With this optic, I have neutralized around 30 pigeons that were invading one of my buildings. For my short range air rifle, I will continue to use this scope, but will be upgrading to a more powerful scope, when I buy a more powerful air rifle, in order to shoot at longer distance. For the money I have spent, this scope has truly been a great buy.
Funny you ended up having the same scope I do and swear by. It’s like looking thru the air that’s zoomed in… I love my Leupold! Best investment I’ve made in airsoft so far!
Did some range testing at twilight with 8 guys all with different scopes. The only scope that was able to still see BBs out to 80m was the Leupold. Call me a fanboy but there’s definitely something to them.
As a new, UK-based player, I found this video extremely clear, informative and helpful - thank you. Please make similar guides for LPVOs and face/eye pro + ghillies! Specifically, what kind of goggles / face pro would you recommend for scoped weapons?
Thanks for taking the time and effort to put this video together, whilst i dont use a bolt action when playing airsoft I will be back to view it over and over again when I do decide to buy a sniper setup. Regarding LPVO’s i would welcome an instructional video from yourself as I have one mounted on my yet to be used MTW and would love to have it set up as best as can be so if you can find the time to put one together I for one would be grateful.
No worries and I’m glad it helped. An LPVO will work fine on a sniper although you probably won’t make use of the 1x on it. Set to 4 - 5 x you will be Stella.
Very informative, nice little deep dive into scopes. I hope you will be doing more content like this. Would love to see your gun setup and mybe a beginners/intermediate guide into boltactions. I will keep the whole zeroing aspect in mind when i try myself on bolt actions soon. Also im going to review my scope setup on my other guns.
on my sr25 which I need to field as soon as i get the mags for it since the hicap barely works and it was barely used, I run a vortex crossfire II 2-7x scope. if it gets shot out, sent it to them and have it fixed/ replaced. i have yet to test it but its
Great video Ed, nice to see how other people set their stuff up. See if OW will lend you an ATN or Wulf4k, would like to see something similar with digital scopes :)
Excellent video! I've only been into airsoft the past couple of years, but I've been into real steel my whole life. I've always viewed Leupold as the gold standard for optics. I'm also a big fan of Bushnell Elite series and Nikon optics for quality mid range glass.
Some people would definitely agree with you. But eye relief is often confused with other things like the eye box and it’s also not always known that it is a range of distance rather than a specific distance
Fantastic video. I'm updating ALL my sniping gear for NAF 2023 and i'm interested in that clip on scope lever you are using. Do you have a preference with that handy device?
Does having a very clear scope help seeing those heavyweight BBs that tend to be darker in colour instead a perfect white, just wondering because I’ve got a relatively cheap scope and I can’t see them past 60 metres regardless of light or how much I adjust the eye relief of clean the lens
Hi, I watched your video and it was very exciting. We are a Chinese manufacturer specializing in sights/red dot sights/night vision devices. We currently have stable dealers in the UK Optic warehouse and have products sold in the UK. , I wonder if you are willing to try our riflescope and make a video for us. You can honestly give your real experience of using it and share it with your RU-vid fans. We look forward to getting your contact information.
I run a atn digi scope with a flip over thermal.. both bought from optics warehouse, over £2000 would i recommend optics warehouse? No i had questions with both and got the old he'll phone you tomorrow fob off, they like to sell but aftersales is crap in the end good old google n reseach helped me. It seems if you are youpuber/ticcock producer these companies will help all the way but mr nobody gets the old fob off.. so buyer beware, you might get a good price but thats where it ends.
