The description: "I'm also not that happy about the editing with all the micro cuts, next time I'll reduce them and focus on longer shots and showing less details. I think my problem was I wanted to include every single detail and still make the video as short as possible." No, this is perfect, I love to see the details, your interacting with them, it's like ASMR, and I have no idea what airsoft is , maybe because it's not popular in Vietnam. I just love to watch what you do to every single gear like lubing, screwing .. etc, and I believe that make people not skip or time jump your video, it's HOOKED
How much would you say this upgrade cost? I'm interested in trying to replicate some elements of this for my own build, and want to ballpark how much I'd need to pull it off.
Around 700-800€ I think. I bought everything over several weeks so I can’t remember fully. It can definitely be done for several hundred cheaper though if you only focus on the most important parts.
Question: did you volume match the cylinder to barrel with the appropriate BB weight? I've seen people adding super long barrels experiencing a huge DECREASE in accuracy and consistency which was remedied when moving back to the stock barrel.
I’ve been experimenting a lot with this and from my experience the heavier BB I use with this setup, the better performance all around. Do you have any sources on the science behind this phenomena?
To be fair, the A&K SR25 is pretty good directly from the factory. Throw in a Maple Leaf bucking and a simple mosfet and you got a rather high performance rifle. I just like going way over the top!
@@koretacairsoft I'm currently in search of DMR (but in 556 magazine format to fit magazines). My basic idea is to purchase one that's got good FPS and range and abuse it as a stock, then when it eventually fails to upgrade it into real DMR. I'm not really into building and mechanical. (I had real problem of disassembling and assembling V3 of my now broken ICS SIG 551). What would you recommend in this case?
@@0bserver416 Well, what’s your budget? Also fyi, with a 556 platform you’ll lose the extra air volume that most AR-10-esque platforms provide thanks to their bigger cylinder, which is vital when it comes to range.
@@koretacairsoft Good question. The max budget will be 500 (+50). Preferably around 350. Didn't know that AR-10 pattern had a bigger cylinder, good to know!
@@0bserver416 Seeing as you want to go the 556 route, almost any high quality M4 style rifle will work. VFC:s are definitely my favorite because of their good externals and internals. Cymas newer rifles are great too but a bit worse when it comes to externals. Your range will mostly be dependant on your bucking, nub and BB weight. I’d recommend going for a Maple leaf MR bucking and omega nub, and at least 0.28g bbs.
the angled sights are useless on a airsoft. As u are using the hopup, the BBs will fly to the upper left when aiming through the angled sights and shooting.
I have a soft spot for this gun. One of my buddies got one and during its maiden outing, he slipped and fell on it and broke it in half. He ended up playing the rest of the day with my G36C.
quick question i have a matrix's sr 25 and it has a full stock like yours and im wondering how to switch it out with a buffer tube but the is no screw hole to hold the buffer tube would i need to get a new lower and pistol grip or a new internal thank you if you see this
@@koretacairsoft I really cant see how you can improve the quality of the video, its really nice overall, good quality audio, good description of what you are doing. One thing I missed was an outdoor footage (shooting). Overall nothing really to improve, nice job man!
im glad i got my cyma m110/sr25, it has a semi functioning bolt catch and its the most satisfying thing ever. it also didn't have that wobble in the upper receiver or suppressor thank god. that thing looks sick tho great job. also the 13:1's would reduce the power no? its a dmr so it should just focus on the range and pfs mostly yeah?
I’ve got a newer Cyma SR25 aswell and it’s definitely higher quality than my A&K. Only problem is I wanted that classic look and Cyma went with a more futuristic look for their newer models and I can’t get my hands on the older ones. Also gears don’t affect the power output unless they’re short stroked, so 13:1s are no problem.
this is awesome! I was trying to find a channel with this type of content for some time now. Just quietness and upgrading airsoft guns. keep up the good work! you got a new subscriber 😉
Built mine on a m190 spring 32:1 gears adn a high torque asg motor got up to like 3.7 jouls then i swithced to a mancrqaft hpa system and now i can pull up to 7 jouls at 250psi but bbs (0.5 g) become unstable so i still run it at like 3.6 but its totally quiet
@@koretacairsoft MED at this particular event is more of a gentleman's agreements we stil have handguns. Effective range is about 70 meters depending conditions but you can take pot shots at a 100m we play in large forest areas in th Czech Republick but ive been to games at old farms with morerate cqb where AEG's regularly had up to m150 springs. I'd say i prefer it as it forces the players to act more like in a real conflict and also its the best antidote for speedsofters
I have a cyma platinum sr25 and I’m looking for a suppressor but can’t seem to find anything that will work but this one seems to be just what I’d need
Hey im also building a sr25 but from cyma and want a faster trigger response. I want to get 13:1 gears but someone said that the pick up pin for the tappet plate position is a problem and it pre engages the tappet plate because the pick up pin position on the oem is different. Is it really a problem?
No idea, you’ll have to try it out and see. If it’s a problem you can probably file down the tappet a bit or try different tappets to find one that works.
I really like that sort of authentic rifle fits, and the same moment i do think about HPA machinguns are exists. So, theare are no sense exept style. But style, style is everything.
I know, HPA will always have more raw performance. I just don’t wanna run around with a hose hanging out of my gun, that’s all. So yes, style is everything.
sick build and love how u made the video bro, very nice gun. me personally woulda picked a diff motor and some diff compression parts but its personally preference. awesome gun bro, happy shooting !
Thank you! I agree on the motor, I wanna get me a warhead brushless soon but I couldn’t get my hands on one for the video. Which compression parts would you change?
Thank you for this amazing video. I have no idea about Softair and all the additional stuff, but i loved every second of that video and hope for more videos to come!
Sniper rifle is a very broad term, there are maaaany different ones. Also the joules aren’t that high on this gun so it’s not a problem. You just have to worry about the MED with higher joules.
Funny enough I was looking for options to do to an A&K SR after my brother had me purchase one for a project he didn't complete, now I got a project idea. How much did most of the Begadi parts cost and got a reference for that scope?
i have the same sr25 but my shs gears non stop dying because of srews in sector gear , and is terible loud also i have 35k warhead motor but nope still loud and dying (spring m140)
Did you put in SR25 gears or normal ones? Did you shim it correctly? Does the SHS bevel mesh well with the warhead pinion? I need a bit more info to help you out.
@@Miguelon88888 Does it have an enlarged cylinder? I’m not too familiar with the VFC M110. You’ll need the air volume to reach that far with heavy bbs.
I wish I saw this video when I started tuning my gun, this video show exactly how to tune your m type gun it is something that a lot of low budget new players who want a good gun need
@@solfilium2379 To that we can agree. My goal was to create more of a classic look, which I think I succeeded with. I run it with a stubby angled grip right now and no bipod. Didn’t find much use for it in airsoft.
