I drive zxi 2022 1.2 petrol engine model. Very spacious and more comfortable for a small family. I get mileage up to 24.5kmpl (with AC on) on highways if you maintain speed 70kmph and don't use breaks frequently. Just use engine breaking on curves and turnings. And don't give more thrust at speed breaks. Raise the power slowly and maintain engine rpm below 1200 (except overtake). If you travel up to 200km, travel at 80kmph. You can travel safe and save fuel. Those who drive above 120kmph may reach the destination hardly 15 to 20mins before us. But that 20mins may not be worth considering fuel cost, road safety. TYRE PRESSURE PLAYS BIG ROLE IN MILEAGE. 35psi IS THE BEST FOR THIS CAR ON NORMAL ROADS. Enjoy safe driving.
Iam using 2014 WagonR VXI model even in that iam having movable headrest in front as well as in rear. Very sad that manufactures removing useful & practical thing in this car
I own a 2016 Wagon R, 1 litre Manual car. I have been experiencing petrol smell inside cabin through ac vents when temperature outside is very hot and during bumper to bumper traffic. Unfortunately authorized dealers are not able to solve this by finding the cause inspite of this being a safety concern. Iam not able to use ac when I badly need it. Please provide your suggestion to solve this or suggest a good mechanic in Bangalore. I really enjoy driving my car except for this reason. Even Iam doubtful if I should go for Maruti if I plan to upgrade because of this problem.
Excellent car, I am driving a zxi 1.2 manual car. It's only downside is we can't travel for a long distance, due to the rear bench seat, you will definitely feel the body pain and tired during a travel longer than 200kms and its suspension is not very supportive to our rough roads, you will feel the discomfort, especially on the rear seat. And the rear ac vents will be missed by the rear seaters, especially during the afternoon hours and summer season.
Very nice and a must watch review for the first time car buyers. The top factor is VFM and it provides space, convenience, performance, efficiency and most of all a affordability. Quirky and outdated design with very low crash ratings are the downsides. This is a magic car with a looks of a tiny car having acres of space inside required for a small family. We used own the first generation WagonR and it always puts a smile on our faces when we think about it. We went for many long trips in that compared to the larger cars that we owned later. Once we were abled to pack almost 7 people for a small trip and it was fun. No wonder Maruti does not want to discontinue or update the design as this is a proven formula. Good to see the updates like alloys, AMT, Hill hold and overall an option to choose the 3 cylinder or 4 cylinder engine option with in a budget. I had a WagonR 2012 model car and used for more than 10years. At maximum speed not exceeding 80 km per hour, it was a nice car. The major problem I faced and had sold was because of wobbling at lower speeds and was excessive. Is the new model offer better ride quality?
Regin sir, nowadays owners of all BS6 diesel vehicles of 1500 cc and below are facing the DPF issues if the vehicles are plying in cities. Could you please advice on the issue ? I mean how it can be avoided and also how to clean the DPF once it's being choked by soot.

Super cool car i have old version experience.so nice latest version wagonr attractive colour also. then my first drive time my relative buy second hand with lpg attached we are going to fill the tang but it was leak first owner not say the lpg problem then we will check it is very unexpected think this tank used for smuggling it was cut and alternate for store in side Then we remove all the tank then fitted new one.
