Suprise didn’t mention Crossout designator. Since we are in a heavy hand trap meta atm plus it can hit other cards too. Plus is got reprinted super cheap atm
i knew someone would ask that xD it was actually the last card i was going to talk about but the video ended up being longer than i wanted so i cut it! But it went in main decks mostly
Cap, I’ve won entire rounds with deck lockdown. I play pure snake eye and I try to set myself up as strong as I can and have a witch in hand to get rid of it on my next turn. It’s a game changer, even if you opponent stops everything you do, it’s strong enough to buy time. You shut down SO much with deck lockdown
I definitely have to second your take on evenly. I cut Nib completely, and have been siding triple evenly, and it's just insane. Snake eye can't really do much against it, kills most rogue, and with all of the stun based decks still floating around it feels soooo good. Everyone is willing to acknowledge when a hand trap is good (even when you have to pair it for it to be good) but nobody ever thinks about how powerful a board breaker is with just one more piece of non engine to pair with it (or hell, even the appropriate engine piece in hand to secure your plays in mp2.
I think super poly would most likely be a niche card at the lowest. If you can afford the extra deck space, which is usually about 3-4, the card can really pull you out of a lot of situations by clearing out some monsters at best and even in some cases makes your opponent respect the super poly by setting up a different end board which could be weaker or take the chance of being hit by it. Maybe a little biased since I’m on Yubel this format but super poly has a lot more applications than most think especially in Yubel
What do you think about sales ban in the side deck? For going second i found it really nice to call out either untargetable cards (skull guardian from voiceless), cards with multiple effects on the board and off the board, or even extra deck monsters that would appear during my combo from quick effects, like SP, fusions, you name it.
Not gonna lie i think you are tripping having raigeki so low when lightning storm is higher up they function almost the same in tenpai but lightning storm has the added bonus of hitting backrow in the case you go blind second into a backrow deck
I think he said that because he looses to them so he thinks people will go up against that aint using those cards that stop whatever hes plus people who do these ive notice alot of the people put cards in niche because it what stops them performing with a deck there using at the time
@@anthonyholder1119 again super polymerization is good not just it's ok I guess and with Melodoius and a few others running around you need super polymerization to help break ur opponents board
I dont like that because shifter is better than both of these cards and you cant use either under shifter. I'd side them for when you play against a deck that doesnt care about shifter
@@MattOsheaYGO Of course you're right, I was thinking about my match up against Tenpai Dragons in the first place because it's hard for me to win with Floo in the first game but as you said I'll come into conflict with Shifter. I didn't even think about that.
@@MattOsheaYGO I’ve seen every single Branded Despia profile running 3. I just got two in the mail. Everyone I duel at locals is running 3 or complaining about how expensive it is to run 3 😭 I guess we’ll find out at my next regional how good or bad main decking 3 Thrusts will be. Maybe it’s niche for Branded since it gets us fusion duplication or branded fusion. So I can see your argument there.
@@ThatsSoGiorgio that's exactly my point, branded is the only deck that needs to main thrust. Other decks might side it but most of the time they save the side deck space for other cards
I brought a budget version of snake eyes fire king to nats and went 4-3. Fire king based. love the deck. Hope next episode of budget challenge comes soon
I’ve been playing Deck Lockdown alongside Mistake in Melodious 4-5 years ago as Melodious pre meta support did NOT search whatsoever and always had potential to play a lot of non engine. I topped a lot of 22-24 man locals as a result.
Hold on to it. It's a very format dependent card but it's very useful when it becomes relevant as it's not once per turn. You'll be able to flex or sell it for a decent dollar later on.
I'm planning to use skull meister in the side deck for my dark world at some point, because not only is it a hand trap, but it's a fiend that I can use as discard fodder for the field spell.
really like the design of the card but very deck dependent. it would be a niche card because most decks dont have the ED space for it to be widely played
