that pisty is making the new metalmorph cards interesting just to get an omni on top of most boards just by summoning black metal for the 3rd time in the turn
why can't we go back to what edison has? you can do combos and get a synchro on the field but it's not impossible to beat it. yugioh only turned out this way because power creep essentially just prints them money. if konami actually cared about the quality of the competition, there wouldn't be the need for handtraps at all. And even if you have the best deck ever with the most hand traps needed and possible to add, you're STILL going to get unlucky at one point and lose games based on just luck. which is bs. extra deck generics aren't a bad idea but it just ruins the tempo and feel of the game in the first place yugioh cannot be saved.
Few good inclusions for the main or side deck 1: Destrudo, the card speak for itself, but seyfeirt can let you swap him with absorouter or vise versa 2: raiders knight and ARC rebellion dragon for quick OTK if you have 2 dark level 4 which tracer can easily get you (might wanna up the rokket count tho) 3: elude of the branded is kinda nasty in this format since almost all the deck requires their monsters to be sent to the GY but elude just outright banish them 4: albaz is also great option for dealing with extra deck threats with both mirrorjade and the albion the branded dragon plus you can recycle albion with regain to keep mirrorjade skill online and albaz works just a bit too perfectly with seals, you go seals into albaz for a 2 card removal and then mirrorjade for a third one 5: chengying work surprising well with the bystials And lastly 6: EEV, that card can win you the game on the spot if you can resolve it correctly, since the bystials fulfill its requirement easily which are revivable with regain so it’s not big deal if you sacrifice them
You know floodgates are a forever effect. You can't compare shifter and deck lockdown to skill drain and summon limit. If you're going to say that then you should restrict Droll and lock bird to 1. You're crazy. Fenrir will never get hit. You're crazy. Fenrir isn't doing anything right now. Your wishlist and resonings make no since on some of your choices.
The problem is that you can go through all your combos and then use the floodgates. Floodgates should not be able to be used if you violate what they are gating. That way, the other player would have a chance. The other problem is the one card combo starters. Snake eyes, in particular, are a problem deck.
As a snake eye player appo is the the biggest problem for everyone if I can secure a 3-4 neg appo with whale and two fires infield it’s pretty much game at that point appo getting banned would hurt.
What do you think about sales ban in the side deck? For going second i found it really nice to call out either untargetable cards (skull guardian from voiceless), cards with multiple effects on the board and off the board, or even extra deck monsters that would appear during my combo from quick effects, like SP, fusions, you name it.
Where have you been. Yugioh was ruined by sychro monsters. The game became too fast. One card combos exploded back then. Hand traps exist as they are now entirely because the extra deck. They should have stopped at fusion.
dude trap decks are dead....any more limits to floodgates and then pile on more anti trap cards like heavy storm is literally beating dead horse...never been a tier 0 trap deck. Yugi himself was a trap player....
I have alot to say here. Calamity ban i agree. Banning puppet to me when albion is still alive is foolishness. You ban puppet branded will just use other card to lock you out from playing the game. Shifter to 1?! WTH?! That is worrth a ban like what you mean... smdh. This wish list was trash tbh
Konami tried to ban every card around halq and it didnt work. Konami tried to ban every card around firewall and it didnt work. But if the branded community wants to ban around sanct that will surely work. Why do we now want to make a bad decision? And for anyone who says you can out the other cards. Thats true. But you can also out mystic mine. And that was never an opinion that worked
Really??? that's where you draw the line. Quick effects are what's breaking the game. Opponents literally playing multiple cards during your standby phase, playing off another combo during your draw phase, playing yet another combo during your main phase, summoning during your battle phase, and your main phase 2 and yet another combo during your end turn..... 🤬🤬😡 Limiting summon limit was an @ss move on konami part.(they plan to limit in on july btw)
Yugioh is in a very unfun place tbh. Normal trap cards, counter trap cards, and continuous spells and traps have all been virtually phased out. 95% of archetypes cant compete with the other 5% bc those 5% have paragraphs of effects that let you summon 5 monsters from one normal/ special summon that all have protection or floodgate or nuke the opponents field. The game needs to be slowed down by a lot if the devs want the game to be healthy again
I completely agree with calamity, it’s so fu***** annoying and basically turns decks like centurion into “if you don’t open hand traps - you lose” type of decks which is very unhealthy for the game itself
My personal take on Diabellstar/Sinful spoils in Snake Eye is that the ideal would be to simply ban OSS. This would effectively take 6 starters away from Snake Eye, and without OSS the rest of the Diabellstar package becomes much more fair.

There, everything is solved. No more dumb locks and we can still have cool plays looping Mirrorjade and extending with Cartesia, Quem and Albaz. Easiest and healthiest errata ever.
