Hey guys and welcome to todays video where we are finishing our skincare awards season by declaring the best skincare brand 2024 - I would love to know what skincare brand is your favourite so let me know in the comments below.. Love you all x
I really appreciate that you don't do sponsorships or paid partnerships! That's huge, it really says a lot about you and makes me value your opinion even more.
Subscribed! You had me at "no brand can be a gold star winner if they are still testing on animals"! That stole my heart! You are so kind! This is the 3rd video of yours that I've watched and you just keep impressing me!
The fact that you don’t do sponsored content makes you the most trustworthy influencer imo. Your recommendations have never let me down (and I’ve tried a lot!). It’s great that you review so many brands so that we can choose what will suit us. I have to say MAS is my No.1 xx❤
Right now I have so little money so I’m happy that The Ordinary exists. They’ve always been great but I appreciate that brand even more now. Their retinal, the amino acids, the matrixal and the argiriline etc, so good! Lots of love ❤
I feel you! As a Retiree, I've been using up all my luxury brands like Murad, PTR and Sunday Riley and switching to Korean brands. To make them even more affordable, I can get a lot of them @ TJ Maxx, Walmart or Amazon. However, I'm really looking forward to buying MAS when I can meet the minimum shipping costs.
I love love the ordinary, it's hard to say my favorite product as I use like 6 of their serums. Niacinamide, hyaluronic, aloe + nag, soothing and barrier serum, lactic acid, NMF + beta glucan are constantly in my routine then some more. I actually retail the brand 😂
Hey Rob, thankfully your sunscreen has arrived. I had been 'out' for a month. The temporary sunscreen I purchased in the interim causes pilling. So glad to have my MAS sunscreen back. Once I finish Facetheory, I will give The Ordinary Aloe 2% + NAG 2% a try to battle my hyperpegmentation. The Facetheory just isn't working at all. Sending love and best wishes for a happy weekend. 522K subscribers how wonderful for you ~ Paula
Oh thankfully it got there thank you so much for your patience hun and we are changing shipping providers to be able to offer far quicker shipping from the relaunch which I cant wait :) .. How are things with you hun? Hope all is wonderful and sending you lots of love x
Completely agree, G & G is my number one. Mighty Melt, C Glow, A Game and Happier Barrier are always in my routine. Would love an updated video on mad about skin and looking forward to your rebranding
I love it all! Medik8…yes! I’m using the Crystal Retinal eye 6 and it’s really nice. Allies of Skin is great and expensive, but often on sale and combinable with your discount. These together make their products quite affordable! I have quite a few Ordinary products, Allies of Skin products, PSA, Ordinary and G&G products. Not a klunker in the bunch! Thanks for another great vid Rob! ❤
Hi Rob, I really have to try something Geek&Gorgeous. I love the pink serum from The Ordinary. Medik8 is my fav retinal for face and eyes, bus I'm waiting for a MAS retinal serum 😉Have a nice weekend 😊
My favorite vitamin C serum was the Geek & Gorgeous C-Glow, until I tried Dermatica's Vitamin C 15%: Fresh Batch Ascorbic Acid. It's a lovely lotion that disappears into the skin and is less irritating. I also agree about the Medik8 Retinal eye cream; what a wonderful product!
Thanks to you, I now have G&G A-Game 10 & the vitamin C serum. Love these products!! Thank you for your honest opinions. Also love the ordinary. Best content creator!❤
Very ineteresting list. Is there a reason you don’t consider the medical grade producst like ISDIIN, Revision and Neocutis, etc.? I tried the vitamin you suggested and it had performed great., so clearly you know what you arr talking about. I’ve spent a ton of money on medical grade products and wondering is it worth it given your list.
❤️medik8 the Crystal Retinal is the only Retinoid my sensitive skin can tolerate my dermatologist put me onto it after we tried the lowest strength of tret and my skin just couldn’t tolerate it more than once a week
Thank you so much Scott... Hope you have a great weekend planned.. I am sitting here with a stinking cold feeling sorry for myself lol so I think a nice skin1004 face mask to pick me up might be in order.. love x
@@MadAboutSkin something must be in the air. Feeling a little blue myself. I do think a good zombie mask might help though. hope all is going well with the move. Sending good vibes.
Do you have any videos on how to layer your skincare if you're using a lot of formulations: vitamin C, argirline, matrixyl, niacinamide, hyaluronic acid., peptides, etc.
Lovely💜. Your enthusiasm for skincare is really inspiring. Of the featured products, I have only used The Ordinary (Soothing and Support) and it’s very impressive. My daughter moved to Paris recently (we live in SA) and she left all her skincare here I found a fantastic stash of skincare, hair care and perfume, so I’m having fun with that. Take care!
Allies of Skin has recently annoyed me as they have reformulated the Promise Keeper and haven't really said anything about it. They've removed the colloidal silver and added in Vitamin C (Ascorbyl palmitate) Which my skin cannot stand in any quantity. I don't understand why they would mess around with a formula that worked amazingly for many. Plus their images on the website haven't been updated and still show the silver. I also feel that all awards previously given should be removed as that awarded a previous forumlation. AOS are usually really transparent but this I feel has been a really sneaky move.. It's gone from a holy grail to total fail now for me.
Hi Rob. Thank you for today's video. I woke up with the intention of scrolling through your video backlog to find two products: something to put under the MAS lip balm for myself and a one and done product for my grandson. Now i can watch your videos on products for winter instead. 😊❤
Happy Saturday hun.. I totally forget that you guys are heading into winder in Aus.. here we are just emerging from it desperately hoping for some sunshine lol.. sending you so so much love x
As always, a great video. My number one is definitely G&G, I absolutely love their Vitamin C and the Retinal. Been using both for years now and wouldnt change. Second place for me goes to The Ordinary. When I first started out with skincare this was the brand I went to as it was easy to understand what each thing did and to make a routine based on their products. Of course this was back when I had like a 20 step routine lol. Fear not, it has been drastically reduced to a few well loved products. Stay well Rob x
I love Medkik8 - their calmwise cleanser is the best I've had, their calmwise serum gives me glass type skin, the hydra8 intense b5, advanced night restore I use day and night. I wouldn't be without it!
The happy barrier from G&G broke me out so bad. I woke up with so many pustules all over my face. I was so confused as the ingredient list claim it has soothing and calming ingredients. I am desperately waiting for your moisturiser to come out since I heard so many amazing things about it and hopefully it will suit my skin fingers crossed ❤
My favorite line now I Think is Numbuzin. I use the No 3 softening lotion and the no. 5 vitamin serum, would love to try the no.6 sleeping mask next, as I've heard very good things about it. I think if price wasn't a factor, I'd love to try multiple products from Allies of Skin, or buy the entire line from Regimen Lab. P.S....How long do you think the LIGHT UP Flash Brightening Mask will last?....As in Shelf Life, or maybe store in the fridge.
Great video Rob. On your reccomendation I ordered the PSA glow mask. I now just wonder how much to use? Can you give me a guideline? Btw, received your peptide serum (didn't use it yet) but what a kind gesture to put in a personal note. Thank you!
I've been posting that DHC lip creme is the best lip balm i have ever used on cracked lips. It works the first time i used it. It has lanolin and i have back ups now cos it is amazing.
Hello my friend it’s Jennie. I use elf moisturizer with peptides. Is that enough along with my thread on. Get back to me if you can I know you’re busy.
How does Maelove Peptide Squad compare to Medik8 Liquid Peptides? Which do you think is more effective? (Maelove doesn't give percentages of the peptides like Medik8 does.) Thank you!
I think the Medik8 one is better, like you say you know the percentages and I prefer the specific peptides they. have chosen in terms of anti aging.. both are great products though xx
Depends where you are trying to order from.. in the UK they have a UK site and in the US they have a specific one too so I would google geek and gorgeous and your specific country and it should be cheaper.. love x
I like a lot of Korean brands like CosRX, Josean, G&G is good, along with Peach Slices. I also like Kiels and Timeless. So many to choose from. If you used this list to promote your own products like other derms, I wouldn't stay subscribed. I unsubbed 2 drem md's so far. 😔
Thank you so much Hun.. I'm sorry but RU-vid just notified me of this so I just wanted to say thank you for your generosity and sending you lots of love xx
Thank you for this honest list. I adore the Ordinary‘s three products you selected here. And I’m very curious about allies of skin. Geek & Gorgeous deserve first place. Their apad serum alone is a game changer and so affordable. 🫶🏻 Have a great weekend!
