BEST SNIPER In Starfield Location! How To Get The HARD TARGET In Starfield 

If the lab is not there for you, simply go to any level 50+ star system and search for planets that have 3 dots on them. These planets have a high chance of having an abandoned facility. It can be any abandoned facility and doesn’t need to be a bio lab specifically. Follow the same steps and farm the level 50+ boss and you’ll get it. Good luck!

The Magsniper does way more damage! I didn’t see one until level 60ish but it does more than double what the hard target does. Mine currently does 1,750 damage

No hard target at the store, I already had one but the damage was far lower. I did pick up the Magsniper with 348 damage. At least that is what they sold me just now. I was running with the old earth before then. The reticle on the old earth was very hard to see though. Edit: just sit in chair for 24hrs a few times and she will restock, the gun showed up with silencer! Also gave me a chance to clean out my vast weapon store in my ship a few at a time. Great vid man!

Couple of things to note -Save BEFORE pulling up the planet map, if no facility, reload -Put difficulty to Very Hard and save BEFORE entering facility -Get boss down to 1hp and save -Kill loot and reload if it isnt there Took me a while but i got one at lvl 25 first play through

I prefer the Old Earth Hunting Rifle (VSS) from vendor in Akila City, it can be used in CQC too. Fully upgraded mine on the bench and it one taps everything with a 20 round mag.

I'm on my 4th run through and bought one at New Atlantis. It had 500+ damage and with a few upgrades is now 601. It is the Commanders Advanced Hard Target and I might stop jumping universes so I can hang on to it. One shot is all it takes.

Found the same sniper but as a random drop, did double damage if target had full health and had explosive rounds 💀

Also once you become a starborn the mysterious ship you run into "the trader" will have a unique one.

Thank you !!!! Edit: So the planet has an abandoned outpost to i decided to land. There was a classic cave with spacers and a high level 58 Spacer Savage. I farmed for about 40 minutes and i got " Hitman Calibrated Magsniper " epic with 2 perks 1.Hitman and 2.Extended magazine. I was happy since it has 378 dps with no mods on it. So i decided to keep trying and kept the save with the Magsniper. After an hour the holy grail drops with Legendary status and i was so happy BUT has the worst perks i ever seen on a sniper weapon. Explosive Refined Hard Target (262dps) - 1.Cornered: Damage increases as health decreases 2.Incendiary: Randomly deals incendiary damage 3.Explosive: Randomly switches to explosive rounds. At least i see it can be dropped and i now have 2 saves one with Magsniper and one with Hard target and i have to decide which one to keep :/ I cant find a way to add suppressor so its useless for stealth though unless there is a way i dont know. You can have the biolab but also a weapon Lab (On this Planet is also Ellipse where You can get a legendary armor with Chamäleon)

Finally found one fighting mercenaries on the collectors ship, was only level 29 and couldn't buy anywhere yet. Btw, even if you kill everyone, after you get the artifact, you may want to jump to another system when you leave. Pretty hard if possible at all to get away before dying once you undock. At least at lower levels

I found a base Hard Target in Cydonia UC Outfitters shop. Didn't spawn there until level 32. Upgraded at weapon mod bench it does 190 damage. I have max Ballistics but no points in Rifles or Marksman or Sharpshooting yet. I had both a Beowulf and an Old World Hunting Rifle to fall back on before then. I haven't seen a MagSniper yet. But I'm only mid 30s.

I got an Advanced Assassin's Hard Target in UC Distribution in New Atlantis. North of 600 dmg fully modded. 430 something without i believe

Updated on this. I am currently lv 25 not on plus, my first play, and I got and epic hard target by farming. Currently farming for leg version. I am on xbox. Confirmed. I got the leg version at 26 on maal 2. Sorry i dont youtube much but i can screen shot.

If it helps at all I made about 30 trips to Rowlands General Store on Akila and picked one up it’s got one upgrade which is Suppressed and as a sneak sniper build now at level 32 this is a good fit. Also from Rowlands during my trips to and from landing on any planet sleeping for 24 hours etc. I picked up every Suppressed weapon I will need for beginner to mid game many with recon scopes and some with full mods or close to full. Hope this helps someone.

About an hour in, Lvl 94 boss in level 75 system, no sniper yet, but i got an epic Varuun Painblade, with two mods. I dont care about that though, i want a sniper!

When trying to loot legendary items…Do we save the game on very hard before landing on the planet or before entering the building location? Can we switch back to easy at any point? Do you have a video on loot farming?

Where can I find this laboratory? I ended up exactly where it was on the map and still, I can't find it.

I bought a White Hard Target from the weapons vendor in the well, but I've been farming a lvl 98 elite enemy for a legendary one(confirmed to exist on Reddit) since 5pm yesterday; with no luck and it's almost 2am 😮‍💨😩

The lab wasn’t there, there was an abandoned weapons facility. Then a ship landed and the lab I think started opening fire on me and creamed me. I was at level 5

I don’t really know what advanced means for weapons but I got an advanced kodama that is common and does 43 damage and it shreds everything that I’ve fought so far except terrormorphs which it still does alright damage to but just no where near as fast as normal humans or other aliens

Tryed to form this but "just" got a epic Sniper with 235 damage and 10% plus human damage with chance to drop medi pack. Maybe because i don´t had Pirates at this Location but Spacers. The Boss was Lvl 58 Spacer Barbar

When i loot the boss and reset how do u keep the loot? Ir do u just keep killing until u find waht u want then carry on sorry for the noob question

The Hard Target can be bought all over the place, when you get to a certain level. Just be patient.

Just went to planet at lvl 15, cleared and no Sniper drop. Sniper drops could be level unlocked or just didn't get a random chance to get it.

i farmed a lvl 74 pirate ( i think he is boss) no hard target i gave up 40 minutes ltr :( ( guy was outside and had that wird looking spherical ches near by which made me think he is a boss

Your sniper rifle recommendation does not work. I do not have the deserted biotics lab on Rasalhague II (it has no landing spots) ... so it is player specific.

You clearly are a newbie to Bethesda games. The double shot damage on a gun only applies to the initial base figure of the gun so if you upgrade the gun you are only upgrading the 1st shot the 2nd/double shot will remain at initial base rate.
