The 2 little things arent resonators but secondary cats, there are total of 4 of them

Got a question! Went ahead and did the same thing as you! But on the after clip you had, sounded like you bouncing off the rev limiter a bit, did you remove the limiter?

I have a s500 w220 with resonators and mufflers off. What did you do in order to take the cats off as well ? Do you have a check engine on? I want to make my car louder

I didint remove the actual catalytic converters, only those 2 secondary ones that come right before the resonators! when you take those secondary cats out, you won’t have any issues with check engine lights

Hey man! I’d looooove to duplicate this sound on my CLK500, So we’ve established what was removed were actually the secondary cats and replaced with an X pipe. What brand and model and size X Pipe did you go for?

Once you start messing with the cats and sensors in them that’s when you have check engine lights! but a cat back like this no issue at all

I have This engine in cls w219. And i want This sound! Its sound like real amg! This is removed secondary cats, middle muffler off And put xpipe And rear muffler off? (i have before rear muffler cut off valve) And thats all? 🤩 What xpipe you use?

Yes that’s correct!, and the x-pipe was actually already on the car tbh, it looks factory almost, kinda like an elongated x-pipe!

Pretty cheap now, just make sure to switch over to coil overs because that ABC system is pretty faulty and expensive when it goes

@@bettywhipz6346 It is very stupid to take out ABC because it iss actually pretty reliable and not that expencive to fix as everyooone think. And afterall ABC is what makes this mercedes unique

@@tavus1879 change your abc fluid frequently (every two years or so), then if you are a kind of DIY man, different parts are not that expensive (except for the shocks, but you don’t change them every two years actually). But keep in mind that this is a 100 k$ car or more when it was new… So you have to spare some money for maintenance 😉

I have CLK 320 swap with CL 500 engine in with stock exhaust. Same sound as on the beginning of the clip. Thinking about cutting two resonators :)

Took of the secondary cats, and left the middle resonator since it was “kinda already an x-pipe” and straight piped it to a muffler delete

I took my resonators off left all the cats and it's a bit too loud usually

@@bettywhipz6346 yes I did but sometimes I like to have something a little v more subtle In part because it's not a two door and it's not an amg class like the sl63 sl55 Maybe some electric cut outs would be cool too

No upgrades to this car other than the exhaust, with the 5.0l N/A V8 this car has, there is not much tuning you could do to make it faster other than some bolt ons, but if you check my most recent video on the E550 Biturbo I have that stage 1 tuned to 510HP. You won’t be disappointed!

@@RUS38 all of em have Rev-Limiters, just if youre standing on the spot you cant overrev them.

I got this done at my recommended exhaust shop down in my city! they provided the tips, the x-pipe was already on the car!, all around costed me about 300-400 Canadian including the tips!

sorry other replies got deleted after some account changes, and yes two mufflers deleted , the 2 secondary cats* made a mistake putting resonators , and kept the x pipe in the middle
