In this video, I am using my new Wolfe Ridge 35 Ton High Output. Y'all are seeing my first impressions of the splitter, and my thoughts about it. Thank Y'all for watching and match sure to Like and Subscribe.
Wolfe Ridge Rocks! I have a 28C. Haven't found a log yet it can't go through. Built here In Wisconsin. The story of its owner is one of American ingenuity and hard work. Chris does an excellent job and takes care of his customers.
If y’all can’t tell I was a little nervous/excited about the new splitter. I’ll have a video next week that will cover the features and specs of the splitter a little more. Thank y’all for watching.
You defeat the purpose of using the multiple splitter plate when you don't run new rounds to push the previous ones completely through. You stop to hand separate many pieces that would have split on their own had you done so. The number of times the split wood is handled reduces your profit, because time = money. But if you're just interested in enjoying the outdoors and having a good time, have at it, my good man. No shame in that.
Looks good, I went with Turquoise but your color is sweet looking too. I've tge 12× wedge and use it when I'm in a super rush, the 6× is my go to and the 4× when I need to taylor the wood when I'm in nerd mode.
I love looking at the new gen splitters. Generally, most all have really cool things that help the process. i got a Northern Tool in the early 80's, I use it vertically because we get storm trees 20 to 30+ diameter. Bottom line, take care of your equipment like the friend that it is. Warm winter nights to all.
Nice unit , good luck with it !I am trying to decide on the model ho/sho i wanted a 28 ton for the speed but had wanted the box wedge at first .I now think the 12 way is the way to go , so decisions, decisions!
The Eastonmade includes electric start, auto cycle and oil cooler, these are extra on the Wolfe Ridge, so if you don’t need them it’s less expensive. The Eastonmade is faster and the Wolfe Ridge uses a Honda. Both good machines.
I originally was going to go with an eastonmade however due to lead times and the quote I got to ship it to my location was 3700...I went with the machine in video. Both great machines tho
It looks good but the Eastonmade 22-28 is way better ...Auto forward /return and the box wedge ... just saying .. I live in New Zealand so I can't get either... dang.
