I really appreciate you doing the pour test into the sink, I hate the slow pour of tumbler lids, and this looked appealing, but I had a hard time finding a pour test unti I found yours

Thank you for a very thorough and detailed review of the new Yeti 12 oz. bottle.I bought one and find it easy and convenient to use. I'm also impressed with the lid because unlike Hydro Flask and Kleen Kanteen lids, this one is easy to use and clean because there are only 2 pieces to take apart and re-assemble. I would recommend this product to anyone who is looking for a coffee bottle that keeps the beverage hot and fits easily into the car accessory!

Wish 🤞🏻 Yeti would make a 16 Oz Rambler! 12 ounces is too small, 18 ounces is too tall ↕️. 16 Oz Pint size would be the sweet spot ☕️ 🍵!

I use the lid with an 18oz Rambler bottle, hands down the best travel/outdoor hot beverage cup ever.. keeps coffee hot for hours and won't leak all over your pack

Amazing reviews on Yeti products. Bought the 26oz and 36oz Yeti with Chug and Straw lids as well. Thinking of buying this one today. I am thinking of using this for both Coffee and Water (with regular or straw lid) interchangeably while traveling. May be for water it would be too small (360ml?).

Don't use the straw for ultra-hot items. Even though it's polyethelyne, the instructions say it's only for cold drinks. However, the hot shot can take anything, including lip-burning coffee.

I arrived at your channel for the first time and really appreciate the thoroughness of your review. I had checked out the official Yeti product page and couldn't figure out how the drinking works - good to know it works from all directions. Question: Is it perfectly fine and easy to drink coffee while driving? I definitely don't want to spill coffee on myself while driving to work and when I'm not super careful about how I'm tipping the bottle in front of my face. Thanks!

Great review. Is this heavy like the 20 oz rambler? Is it easier to drink out of? I find with the standard mag lid I get a mouth full of air as my coffee goes down and I have to tilt the cup.

This is far better than the mag slide lid (for drinking coffee). I know exactly what you mean with the air. I have the 20oz tumbler and use it for cold water in the summer and it’s always a bit weird trying to drink “fast” with the air trying to force its way in when you’re drinking as there is only one hole. Because of the way the hotshot lid is designed, you can drink from any point, 360deg, meaning if you’re drinking from one side, air can come in the other side so it’s a much more “pleasant” drinking experience, especially for hot coffee.

I have a 20oz ramblers that I love. Does the new lid have the same diameter? I'm hoping it fits my 20oz but mine doesn't seem to have a screw fit inside

Hey aaron , when my yeti get stained put in sink fill to top with hot water drop a dishtab in from dishwasher let sit an hour . Looks new .

Just crank off the lid. It’s not permanently locked on. It stays clean for a surprisingly long time with flowing water.

Can you hand wash the Rambler? Will your hand/finger reach to the bottom of the cup to hand wash? Does it fit into a car cup holder? Thanks

Mine fits in a bigger cup holder, not the smaller one. I have a bit of trouble getting my hand inside, so I just use a dish brush to scrub around inside. But if your hands are smaller, it's easy.

Try put in hot water before you put coffee.. I do that and I work outside even in cold weather.. it keeps my coffee hot.

The Contigo is great for one hand, but horrible for heat retention. I got one used it one day, and I sent it back the very next day. That was a big disappointment. I have a yeti 20 oz ordered. I'm hoping it does a better job!

I feel the same way. I’m “hoping” that at a yeti manufacturing facility in China they would have high standards for food-grade materials and that they have an onsite inspection process. That’s what I tell myself anyway.

I would not necessarily title this a review. You say you love it before even using it for a while. It's more of an "unboxing" video than a review. You could try some heat retention tests, or see how you like it after a few weeks, and then edit it into the same video It sounds like you really want to have your video start with all the packaging since you were really emphasizing that, but it's not really that big a deal to a viewer that we see that because we can see that stuff for ourselves in the store or in photos (so not as much time is needed there). The actual review part is usually more useful.

People that aren't paid to like this, will hate it. Your noses presses into it, if you have average size hands its unpleasant to squeeze em in there to function the "dial", it leaks unless you tighten it which of course makes its harder to open becuase again - its not great to fit your hand in the lid hole. Plus when you drink, its impossible to sip hot liquid, unless you get lucky and line up with a hole. This is hands down the worst Yeti product ever made.
