So dex on Teros is 50/50 because you save a frame on four moves being Nlight,Slight,Nair,Sair but the problem is that when you play long enough you don’t really notice the difference between having dex or not I started playing Strength a week ago and I love it way more because Teros smacks them with a sig or Sair and their soul leaves their body but kyna be dominating with dex❤️‍🔥

It's crazy even when pros vouching ppl one tricking legends try so hard to think they're right 😭

As a cannon main I can confirm that you don’t need dex on cannon because it changes nothing but the recovery time of any of your moves but for characters like seven you definitely need the speed because there’s a huge difference in movement with 4 speed vs 5 speed, for onyx the reason he said base is because she doesn’t excel at anything putting a stat in ones but in twos the extra damage in team combos decides stocks and potentially even games depending on the circumstance, and sidra in my opinion does better on defense because of the extra damage she can take but she also does good on anything🤓❤️‍🔥😊

With gnash, you still should be able to hit dlight sair on both weapons, even with 2 dex. It might be a bit tighter, but it is most definitely possible.

On one hand, Boomie is correct. Gs and spear are defensive weapons that don't get as much of a benefit from speed as other weapons, and with Arcadia's traps encouraging an especially defensive style, as well as the numerous changes to dash that benefit low speed legends, defense is a very good choice on Arcadia... ...but on the other hand, Arcadia is abysmal offstage. Magyar can get away with low speed because he has a lot of tricks up his sleeve, none of which Arcadia has. She doesn't have hammer recovery to ward off gimps, she doesn't have gs nsig to give her a fourth jump, and she doesn't have the sky-high defense that makes Magyar so hard to actually knock offstage in the first place, or the defense that also allows Magyar to eat ground pounds like potato chips and still survive. Speed stance helps Arcadia deal with offstage encounters, and it also helps her weave past enemies trying to trap her at the ledge, ironically helping her survive longer than defense stance does. And while speed isn't as necessary on gs and spear as it is on other weapons, it still is helpful for avoiding attacks and getting out of tight spots. In all honesty, I think both you and Boomie are correct. Defense and speed are about equal in how good they are. If you are especially good at dealing with edge guards and ledge traps, defence stance is a no brainer, but I think speed is far from useless, helping you deal with these situations more consistently. At that point you have to try both and decide what's best for you. Perhaps if the video was longer there would have been room for that debate, but unfortunately swirft has to keep the attention of middle school sugar junkies, so 🤷‍♂️.

I mean it's pretty straightforward in most if not all

Dexterity is useless on most weapons, therefore any stance that takes away from dext becomes the best one. Some legends have no speed/defense so the best stance is probably something that tries to help their weaknesses (queen nai has no speed, therefore the best stance is giving her speed). In 1s speed is the most important stat, in 2s speed is less important since there are two players controlling the field and it's more team-combo-oriented, therefore defense to tank hits or attack become the best stances

Keep in mind axe is meta in 2s and 4/5 hits and you are red if you use a legend with low defense, thats why high defense and high attacks are good in 2s

You could prolly use the 5 speed yes

Speed makes it a well rounded character and the extra dex you dont burn makes it a frame window lower in some bow strings (like slight dair going to 1 frame thus unjumpable) and also makes easier to hit slight nair on axe if you struggle with it Edit: this come from a mit plat lvl 53 azoth main
