The food is excellent and the people treat you very well and respectfully. They go out of their way to make you feel welcome and you will never feel uncomfortable no mater what time of day you are out and about.
@Madara Uchiha it is not china. it is taiwan. these are 2 different countries. china is a country with no freedom and ruled by the communist. taiwan is a country with freedom. totally the opposite. so dont buy yourself the wrong ticket.
@don rao Not just, Taiwan is a much more greater COUNTRY than China, especially in education, healthy care, sexual equality, political rights and human rights.
@don rao Taiwan's gov (Republic of China), established in 1911, is old enough to be China government's father (PROC, est. 1949). Who is the rebellious one?
People there look so friendly. It made me smile when people noticed the camera and they either smiled or put up a V sign. Taiwan (and Japan also) sparks intense nostalgia and they remind me of a hometown that only exists in memory.
What a lovely world! That’s another thing I love about your videos, man, and that is you take us with you to the most expensive lunches in the most luxurious Japanese steakhouses _and_ you take us on these kaleidoscopic night market quests-and you haven’t an ounce of contempt for either. You just want to share good and exciting cuisine and culture with us. Wonderful. And the way you film them is as beautiful and vivid and candid as they could be. I don’t think anyone does it better.
Nice people....Smiles, workes, beauty girls, good food... Simpatic nation..Give bye, show urself... Taiwan is very nice place. I liked much, So much.Congratulations to the video.Kisses from Brazil.🇧🇷
It's my dream to travel these places (Japan, China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Thailand...) not so much to explore the places, but to try their food, especially the STREET FOOD! Mouthwatering...
TIL I could stay relaxed forever watching high quality un-narrated videos of street food being prepared and cooked. Only hope that one day I can afford to travel and try some of this stuff for myself!
I feel hypnotized in a good way. The way you filmed this and the even flow of vendors making amazing dishes , the no narration, and your slow pace/movements and faint chatter from people in the back ground has struck a chord with me. This might be my favorite you tube video ever.
You should see their dustcarts - they come round every other day and night, - not like our lot that collect once a fortnight and you have to keep it in bins in between collections.
Great camera work! The best thing about your video is that you let the food, the sight and the sound speak for themselves, if we only can smell the aroma! Thank you.
This video was excellent. I can't believe how many different types of food they offer. We have Markets here in Ohio. But all the vendors sell pretty much the same thing. Like 15 coffee stalls or hotdog stalls. Nothing like the variety in this video.
Bahaha I love that. Here in Indiana we don't even get markets, sometimes like once a year we'll have a farmers market and everyone sells apples. I remember when I went back to China, my aunt, who I was staying with, lived like right above this busy night market and we went there and it was soo nice. The atmosphere and food were just wonderful. Heck ton of paperwork to go though.
This is one of the most interesting and enjoyable vids I have ever seen on the Tube. So many different foods and such a variety of foods. The vendors seem so skilled in the making of the foods. I just wish I knew what all the foods were that we saw! Thank you for sharing this with us.
Your videos are so much more than watching people cook, they are tributes to amazing food and the meticulous people who prepare it all. Thank you for your channel, it's quickly becoming my favorite!
_Such_ a crazy good video. So much food... I'm so jealous... and a little baffled... Where does it all go? The uneaten food... TT.TT the world is so unfair
I can see why this is the number one night market in Taiwan. Everything looks appealing. I would like to buy one of each item from all the stalls. If you live near this market, you would die happy. Every snack, drink and dessert is yum, yum and super-yum!
What an awesome video (content and the quality of the video)! Thanks so much for sharing. I wish I could go with a group of people so we can share and sample more food.
same tongs for raw and cooked meat, which are one next to another... yea... (not talking about masks, gloves, hats, ..., one pair of extra tongs for cooked meat would improve it significantly (if we talk about hygiene))
Aden, thanks for the videos! Last time I was in Taiwan (2008), some shops/stands would get mad if i recorded or took pictures of their goods. Have you had this problem at all?
To everyone talking about getting sick. My husband used to go over seas and eat and he said it isn't the fact that they aren't hygienic it's just that out bodies as Americans are not used to different germs. So we would probably end up using the restroom quite a bit at first lol. And then we would get used to it.
When I was little, my parent didn't let us eat street food. Now that I'm older, it's my dream to visit Japan, China, Hongkong, and Thailand for the STREET FOOD!
Taiwan street market food is generally cheap, good and most importantly hygienically prepared. edit: I stay way from that smelly taufu, and even those stall nearby... can't stand the smell
Hero Hour if you need cleeeean. gluten free. no oil. healthy and shit you should not be so stupid to eat steet food at the firt place. go tu supermarket and cook on your own. your point try to seek bad thing is so annoying bitch westerner
I'm taiwanese.some vendors use cheap meat i agree, but if they use unsanitary meat public will criticize the vendor who use and gov will Heavy penalties, don't imagine asias are all fools
I'm Taiwanese, and DaDong is the best market for food imo, the food there is special compared to other night markets, even though I've personally been there only for once. The second place I'd give it to Keelung 基隆廟口夜市. These two markets are those that after you've been to many night markets in Taiwan, you will still be able to tell, they are so different. FYI, the night markets you listed are the more notable ones, there's a bunch more, for real a bunch more night markets in Taiwan, It's literally in every district, and each district has multiple night markets. Like for Taichung(where I'm from), Fengjia Night Market and Yizhong Night Market is famous, but there's also忠孝夜市,中華路夜市,旱溪夜市,大里夜市,太平夜市,妖怪夜市,水湳夜市,東海夜市 Here's a list of all night markets in TW: zh.wikipedia.org/wiki/%E8%87%BA%E7%81%A3%E5%A4%9C%E5%B8%82%E5%88%97%E8%A1%A8
+Ivan GBs simply these girls are so cute specialy the second when she smiles ;-) and the first so so fresh and so beatiful smooth voice when she has talking...
