Guys, every video is better than the last. I feel like you both are on a roll! Glad to see more open shops in Japan!!! Here’s to more brave business people opening their doors!
I love you showed Ikayaki. It is one of my favorites. You didn't have enough sauce or mayo. The Karashi does help it level up. I love the 551 Buns and Amazu dango. I will have to try that Fried Ice cream sando the next time I am in Amemura. Thanks for the heads up.
Thank you both for sharing!!! Osaka looks beautiful and so much fun, I like the looks of those pancakes and cabbage! Sinichi and Satoshi, your travels have been so wonderful lately. I really admire the temples and traditional Japanese culture. ❤
Finally something I know the taste of! That corn is one of my favorite things! I actually think I prefer that type of corn when I’m eating corn off the cob, it’s a common breakfast food for me because it’s so filling and satisfying!
You guys are awesome! Thank you for taking us all on your amazing adventures! I really hope to see a collaboration between you guys and Rion!! That would be so much fun to watch!!! 🥂
I've been to that exact location for kyabetuyaki. Was riding a bike and came across this. I was blown away and will go back here again if I get back to Osaka.
OMG you guys did it again 😭😭 I literally never tried everything in this video even i went to Osaka 7 times. Im definitely going to all those places oh lordie i can’t wait 🥹😍🫠
I love that kind of corn. We call it native corn here. It's sometimes all "white" (pale yellow) but sometimes purple and pale yellow. So good with butter or in soup :) Or mixed with steamed rice :D Gotta try that ice cream so that I can taste delicious air :D
btw for Southern Californians wondering, that type of waxy corn is loved by Chinese and Koreans too! And you can find them often frozen in asian markets. I once worked with a girl who knew a supplier when it 'came into season' and would take orders around the office to submit to this vendor. It's really fun to eat
Love the video , you two are great. Hey try the corn rolled in soft butter and sprinkle black pepper on it . It’s really good that way . Thanks again love from California usa
So, yesterday (Sunday, May 22) I traveled to Ithaca, NY to go to a new Asian market. It’s about an hour 20 mins away from my house, but the closest and best market. I got some egg tarts, so good! And I finally got to try Baum Kuchen (sp?). It was Hokkaido Milk Baum. Soooooo good. I will be putting that on my list for the next time I go to that market. Was excited to see some items that I couldn’t get at any other market, such as: Furikake, bonito flakes, Shumai, scallion pancakes and several other items. If I can’t go to Japan or SE Asia, I’ll bring it to me. ✌🏻💕😊
Stuck here in America, I NEED to know more about that corn! Is it a totally different type, just prepared differently, or both? I love corn and finding a new way to enjoy it would be great!
I connect Osaka with RionTV, Gaooooo😁 amazing food tour, I‘m so happy you can do those again. But first of all I hope you have a wonderful time with your family now😄
Can guys consider putting google map links in description? I’m going to Japan soon and watching lots of your vids. I’m finding it hard to search for some restaurants you show. Thanks for considering.
First time I saw anything about Asian street food was Anthony Bourdain in Osaka. So sad he took his own life as he still had more dialogue about food and travel than anyone during his time. Gordon Ramsay now does something similar on NatGeo Channel and it's really good program.
Is Japan open for tourists yet? I have a friend who went there for work but I think it's still closed for tourism. I remember when I last visited in January 2020 just before the pandemic went haywire, I went to Tokyo and it was such a wonderful experience. I was supposed to go to Osaka and Kyoto but had to cancel. I can't wait to go back.
Love TabiEats so much but can't bring myself to watch this as I'm so so frustrated with the Japanese government. Should be eating some of this food in Osaka for a couple years planned 20th anniversary trip in mid June. Not happening. Wish I would have picked almost any other place in the world. Love you guys TabiEats and hope you have great success in the future.
My favorite thing in Osaka was this cart on Dotunburi in an open food cart park across from the one of the famous okonomiyaki joints(which was amazing hot on the griddle, yum). But it was like the Ice Dog, except it was hot melon bread with different kinds of ice cream and the hokkaido melon was transcendent. Also, there's a Yakitori place right by the Don Quixote at the end of the street that I really really enjoyed. Very good yakitori and atmosphere was super friendly. They didn't know a lot of english but they knew the japanese baseball player in our home town. ^_^
Fantastic video. My fav was the cabbage pancake and the hot dog ice cream! I don't know exactly what you guys are doing lately, but you can see an awesome new vibe, great job!!!
Love the musical intro :) It's already been 10 years since I've been for a week in Osake. One of my best friends studied there for a year and I visited her in the summer, before going to Tokyo. Yes tako yaki is for me the first thing I think of Osaka, but also the cheesecake for some reason. I would LOVE to try the ikayaki! I just love ika.
Hi satoshi and shinichi, thank you for the memories of Osaka, I know you eat really tasty food on this channel but when i saw you right by don Quixote I so wanted you both to go on the ride outside the store , I show people the video of the ride as it rises above the river and people can’t believe how high it goes
The pancakes in the beginning looks so delicious packed with all my favorites vegetables. And the Pirk Buns were full if meat , I believe you it must be the best . 🤗
