A trick on how to make strong tie wire that won't snap, when twisting TIGHT !! :::::::::::::::::::: Music: Dreams - Bensound www.bensound.com Support by RFM - NCM: bit.ly/2xGHypM ::::::::::::::::::::
It’s twisted not braided. As far as being “a lot stronger”, it’s not. It would be exactly 2X as strong if you DIDN’T twist it and just doubled it. Twisting it together actually weakens it just like any knot or bite in a line creates the weakest point. Provided you aren’t twisting the wire together so much that you begin to stretch the wire, you’re probably achieving about 1.75 - 1.8X the strength of a single strand.
Absolutely Thank you, to the point! I loved it! Reminds me how I learned from a guy on RU-vid on how to straighten copper wire by doing the same thing, makes the copper wire beautifully straight because as it twists it is being tempered but don't go past a certain point or it will weaken the copper to the point of breaking, just the same as this would break if the same thing was done.😂😂
You can do it the opposite way by tying the loose ends to something solid and throw a paddle bit in your screw gun and put the loop over the paddle and spin away… great video though!!
