Another well done production including the Claire Lynch vocals. I hope you enjoyed your vacation ; I had eagerly expected another faith-filled video for several weeks since I always learn something with each new release. Pastor Murray would you kindly answer the following questions w.r.t. striper trolling techniques ? Do you ever use light weights (1/8, 1/4 or 1/2 oz.) to take your live trout, herring or bream slightly deeper ? Would you Kindly consider disengaging the reel clicker mechanism soon after you start reeling in the fish ? In approximately how many yards of forward movement does it take for you to complete one S turn cycle ? God bless you and your family and Tight Lines, Jim Pecheur

Hi Jim, Thank you so much for watching and for your kind words. The vocals are actually my wife singing. I thought "Deeper In the Hole" would make a good theme song for my Channel. To answer your questions: Concerning small weights to take the bait deeper. I don't use lead weights, but sometimes I use up to three red glass beads ranging in size from 1/4" to 3/8" diameter. I prefer to used faceted glass beads from Hobby Lobby. The beads serve multiple purposes: first, as a line stop against the planer board pigtail swivel. Second, two or three glass beads will rattle against each other as the bait swims (especially for Herring). Third, they add some weight. As a rule of thumb, I set the length of line behind the planer board equals the water depth that I am fishing. Also, the bait should be above the Stripers line of sight. Concerning the Clicker: I'll try to get in a habit to set it to the off position after a fish is on. There's a lot going on when a Striper is on. I'm hard of hearing, so the Clicker is important, especially when I have two rods behind me. Distance between a complete Zig and Zag cycle is approximately 70 yards. But it varies based on speed and conditions. If I'm going against current, I may not be covering much distance at all. Also, I vary speed, distance and depth (height of the wave) of the ZigZag. Also, pausing for a minute or so is a good technique. I've had lots of striper runs when I'm baiting a hook and the other three lines are not moving. So, the pause is an effective technique. Thanks for the questions! Good Luck! God Bless You and Yours! Pastor Murray
