The number 1 way to defeat ultra necrozma: Ratatta with “endeavor and focus sash” (to be both on 1 hp )then “quick attack to go first and defeat it.”

Hawlucha was my carry pokemon for most of my playthrough, he was a higher level than my starter

Here is a smart way to beat ultra Necrozma: Have a Zoroark as your first Pokemon in the party, make it disguise as an fighting type Pokémon and the Ultra Necrozma will use a psychic type move but it won’t effect the zoroark, then use dark type moves. There you go. If your struggling with ultra Necrozma, use that method

Just to make a small correction, you actually can't get Munchlax until after you beat Hala, because the area in Route 1 to get it is blocked off by rocks and you need Tauros Charge to get it.

Primarina, choose poppolio as starter, (Sparkling Aria, Moonblast, Shadow ball, Psychic/Energy Ball) Vikavolt, find as Grubbin at route 1, (Thunderbolt, Signal Beam, Energy Ball, Flash Cannon) Snorlax, find as Munchlax at route 1, bust the rocks with Tauros, (Giga Impact, Return, Wild Charge, Heavy Slam) Alolan Muk, find as Alolan Grimer at Trainers School, (Gunk Shot, Crunch, Toxic/Ice Punch, Brick Break) Hawlucha, find at route 2 Pokemon Center, where you trade a spearow for it, (Flying Press, Acrobatics, Brick Break, X-Scissor) Mudsdale, find at route 4, (High Horsepower/Earthquake, Heavy Slam, Rock Slide, Toxic)

Slight correction to 7:16 (if you're following this as a guide): Munchlax is NOT the second Pokémon available as it's only available AFTER getting Tauros Charge, in the small section of Route 1 blocked by large rocks. Just continue past it and circle back after getting other Pokémon. Similarly, the Spearow necessary to trade for Hawlucha can only be caught in specific patches of Route 2 between the berry farm and the Pokémon Centre. Those are the only Pokémon with this limitation however, so don't worry about the rest, just keep grinding encounters and eventually you'll find them.

Actually, you get munchlax as a 5th member as you can only get it after you receive Rideable Tauros (munchlax appears below the breakable boulders at route 1).

Here's a tip give mudsdale a quick claw so it will attack 1st most of the time

Bro, the Litten line goes through SO MANY big fights well, like it does good against the normal trial (double kick), ok on the water trial, good on fire because of bite, REALLY good on the Grass trial because it gets the boost from the sun, REALLY good against the electric, ok on the Ghost, not that good against the Dragon and REALLY GOOD against the Fairy, and also does good against Moylane and Guzma.

for the mudsdale instead of rockslide, if you can get it early in the game, is smack down, since it knocks flying types out of the sky and makes them vunerable to ground

Good video. I know it was posted quite some time ago, but you guys made a small mistake. The TM for Acrobatics is available on the first island in Sun/Moon only. In Ultra Sun/Ultra Moon, it's available on Route 15, in front of the Surf Association Building, and to get it you need to have Sharpedo or Lapras surf

Where was this video two or three weeks ago when I brute forced through everything with my team I largely picked up on the first island Big gold boi made me suffer you know, I literally only managed to beat him thanks to the power of friendship

Since i started the game, i built my dark type pokemon team : 1. Incineroar (fire/dark) - my starter. Powerful z move with darkest lariat. It learns outrage, flare blitz, and cross chop too which make it more dangerous 2. Zoroark (dark) - catch zorua at trainer school. My second partner with high speed spatck and atck. Better catch with sp atck nature (mild or rash) or speed nature. Don't cost it atck and spatck 3. Honchkrow (dark/flying) - catch murkrow at cemetery in first island (night only). Best counter for fighting type pokemon bcause it can learns psychic and fly 4. Tyranitar (rock/dark) - catch larvitar inside diglett cave. Better search it before battle royale mission. Just search near the entrance. It's the hardest pokemon in my party to be trained. Pupitar evolve to tyranitar lv 55 5. Krokodile (ground/dark) - catch krokorok in haina dessert. Easy to find. I love it because it has high atck and speed stats, combine it with moxie nature 6. Weavile (dark/ice) - catch sneasel just before pokemon league in lanakila mountain. The quickest pokemon in my party. It has high speed and atck stats Others alternative that i love to train beside my party: 7. Absol (dark) - the location is same with sneasel. Try to find with superluck ability (up crtitcal ratio), combine it with night slash, psycho cut, stone edge, sword dance. Then give item scope lens or razor claw. Absol will have 100% critical hit ratio. Nature : Adamant 8. Muk (poison/dark) - the other best dark pokemon that have unique types. But i dont like the colour of this pokemon (my opinion) 9. Bisharp (dark/steel) - high attack and defense, cool design, but hard to find 10. Scrafty (fight/dark) - high attack. Powerful in early mid game 11. Pangoro (fight dark) - high attack, and i love panda hehe 12. Mega gyarados (water/dark) - you can only get this after the story end 13. Mandibuzz (dark/flying) - sorry i play ultra sun so i can't catch it. But this pokemon is strong 14. Houndoom (fire/dark) - love this pokemon but i prefer incineroar than houndoom 15. Umbreon - most favorite eevee's evolution

I think aerial ace runs really good with hawlucha it helps me when almost my half team probably fainted from a previous battle so yeah.Hawlucha with aerial ace actually helped me sweep through all the trials!

I don't know why Vikavolt got the spot instead of the far superior Magnezone. Magnezone is better in every stat, even speed. True it won't evolve until Vast Poni Canyon but Magneton is good enough as is. And you can run it with the Eviolite to give more bulk. The move pool is better and the moves come in faster. Also, the entire Magnezone line is special so you won't have to change the entire move set when it does evolve, unlike Vikavolt who goes from a physical Charjabug to a special attacker. Anybody can try to change my mind but the truth is that Magnezone is just the better Pokemon!

My Ultra Sun team: Decidueye (Leaf Blade, Spirit Shackle, U-turn, Swords Dance) Zoroark (Foul Play, Night Slash, Low Kick, U-turn) Noivern (Air Slash, Draco Meteor, Boomburst, U-turn) Araquanid (Leech Life, Liquidation, Aqua Ring, Infestation) Salazzle (Flamethrower, Toxic, Sludge Wave, Dragon Pulse) Alolan Ninetales (Ice Beam, Dazzling Gleam, Dark Pulse, Calm Mind) It was actually a really fun team. Having 2 glass cannons and one pokemon that can take like two hits and then dies is both really fun and really annoying. I had the least issue battling, because most of my team does enough damage to either one-shot or two-shot most opponents, but when you're doing things like trying to catch legendaries, this team can be kind of a nightmare (everything crits, everything does too much damage, nobody can survive any of the legendary's attacks, etc)

Wow I used this exact team (with a little different moveset) in my first playthrough thinking I was going to have a hard time

Quick note for those of you looking to play the alola games with mudsdale. This thing doesn't require a whole lot of experience to evolve, meaning it'll evolve very quickly. Second try and focus on catching a mudbray with the stamina ability. This ability will raise mudsdale's defense stat one stage every time it's hit by an attack, either special or physical. Defense and attack are doing to be mudsdale's main stats so you can imagine how absolutely insane the stamina ability is for this thing. Personally Mudsdale was one of my favorite pokemon introduced in alola and up their in my favorites of all time list, so I'm really glad they decided to include this insanely awesome ground type. If you decide to catch one for yourself, for sun, moon, ultra sun, or ultra moon, all I can say is have fun winning.

For Ultra necrozma, a illusion zoroark can allow you to take 0 damage the whole battle. It was way too easy

Ultra Necrozma was easy. It one shots all my Pokémon, so I grabbed my haunted with destiny bond, slapped a quick claw on it, and prayed to RNGesus… easy 1 turn

Mimikyu knowing Toxic can work for Ultra Necrozma’s battle

One of the best teams for Primarina includes: Mimikyu, Alolan Sandslash or Ninetales, Lopunny, Salazzle, and Jolteon. Honestly, Sandslash would be better due to you already having a steel weakness and coverage to fighting, but playing Ultra Sun, I had Ninetales. Of course, no kidding your team is good. My personal team used (nicknames help make a Pokemon stronger, or it's just me) creative names and optimal movesets. Each moveset was crafted carefully for some scenarios. Primarina (Prismarine) - Psychic, Sparkling Aria, Icy Wind, Moonblast Salazzle (RazzleDazzle) - Double Slap, Flamethrower, Dragon Pulse, Venoshock Jolteon (Volteer) - Thunder, Volt Switch, Pin Missel, Bite Lopunny (Lopears) - Bounce, Jump Kick, Return, Odor Sleuth Mimikyu (Echo) - Shadow Claw, Charge Beam, Pain Split, Play Rough Ninetales (Kyubi) - Extrasensory, Feint Attack, Sheer Cold, Dazzling Gleam It was a pretty solid team and I got some extra challenge from using three fairies.

I actually didn’t have Any problem with ultra necrozma. I just killed it with My primarina but i don’t remember what i did.

My team for Ultra Sun has changed a lot over time. The team I had when I first beat the league was Incineroar, Salazzle, Arbok, Lycanroc Midday form, Bewear, and Noivern. Nowadays, I still have Incineroar and Lycanroc, but I replaced Salazzle with Toxapex, Arbok with Raichu, Noivern with Kommo-o, and Bewear with a Mega Lopunny or Lucario. The 6th slot is always changing, any pokemon with a mega evolution can fit here.

My current Ultra Moon team, which I’ve had for a long time now: 1. Decidueye - Level 87 - *Leaf Blade, Spirit Shackle, Frenzy Plant, Pluck* Ability: Overgrow Item: Decidium Z 2. Zoroark - Level 85 - *Punishment, Nasty Plot, Night Daze, Foul Play* Ability: Illusion Item: Darkinium Z 3. Midnight Lycanroc - Level 91 - *Stone Edge, Rock Tomb, Counter, Stealth Rock* Ability: Keen Eye Item: Lycanium Z 4. Mudsdale (nicknamed “Braille”) - Level 93 - *Heavy Slam, Earthquake, Double Kick, High Horsepower* Ability: Own Tempo Item: Steelium Z 5. My team: Decidueye, Magnezone, Zoroark, Growlithe, Noivern, Florges. The only cons is that I had a hard time taking out fire types, and I had no ground attacks or water attacks.

My Team: Incineroar, Vikavolt, Hariyama, Slowbro, Crobat, Tsareena. Very solid team for a game play through honestly

Yay I got hawlucha a while ago. It's been very strong Sadly I don't wanna reuse Pokémon so I'm not using vikavolt I already got alolan grimer though

When i was on the first island i was just obliterating every trainer with Furfrou's headbutt

I would personally switch snorlax out for lopuney because its fast powerful and if it has a sirtain ability to hit ghost types and on top of that lopuney can mega evolve. All buneary needs to evolve is affection witch is not that hard to do

One thing about munchlax is wrong,you cannot get him until you get tauros.

my team: Decidueye Lycanroc Metagross Arcanine Ninetales Wishiwashi I struggled at Kommo-o not knowing it has poison jab and it destroys my entire team :< ( not really xD) No problem against Necrozma(I thought I can capture it xD) Team RR was a struggle too

Am i the only person who loves having a Mimikyu, it made the dragon trial a breeze

I know I'm a bit late to point this out but you said TM62 acrobatics was available on the first island. I went to look up specifically where and all the videos I watched (I watched 3 or 4 of them just to sure) said that it was on the third island on route 15. Just thought I'd point that out because nobody seems to be mentioning it

I love using different teams whenever I play through pokemon ultra sun. I'll definitely give this team a shot!

One thing that always ticks me off about Pokemon games... Your opponent hits a flinch 3 times in a row, you hit 3 throughout the entire game... Also your attacks better have 100% cause you're gonna miss...

My team is Incineroar Mudsdale (from a wonder trade so it was my second team member) Hawlucha Jolteon Gengar Gastrodon

My Team Primirina- Annabeth- Sparkling Aria, Moonblast, Psychic, Energy Ball Alolan Marowak- Nagisaki- Shadow Bone, Fire Punch, Brick Break, Earthquake Magnezone (who is MUCH better than Vikavolt in EVERY WAY)- Hyperion- Thunderbolt, Discharge, Flash Cannon, Signal Beam Alolan Sandslash- Shredder- Ice Punch, Iron Head, Hail, Brick Break Tyranitar- Rampage- Stone Edge, Crunch, Brick Break, Aerial Ace Mudsdale- Atlas (MY FAVORITE POKEMON!!)- Earthquake, Rock Slide, Heavy Slam, Superpower Never any problems. Even Ultra Necrozma went down easy. Magnezone leads with Sturdy ability and Toxic. 4 turns later Ultra N is dead.

I wrecked everything with this team: Inceneroar, Decidueye, Hawlucha, Raichu, Greninja, and I always switched out the last person never could decide who I liked beat
