I mean people found ways to utilize Blaziken in OU for Gen 8. And a Speed Boost Blaziken that can boost attack, hit hard, and change its type? You BET people are gonna find strats for it. In fact, people already are.
Glad you are able to recognize Crobat and was way better than any other Flying type. My team is consisting of Swampert, Crobat, Gardevoir, Aggron, Flygon or Salamence, Hariyama or Machamp (If I have somone to trade.)
I almost always chose totodile as a starter so i never really had an issue with mortys gym or gengar it was more the gym puzzle that i had problems with
C'mon, you can't be that old yet, right? I bet some people think you look younger than you actually are. 😆 Anyway, another good list. What you did with the Blaziken bit was kinda funny.
Mine consist of Pikachu or Jolteon (if I don't feel like using Pikachu), Venusaur, Charizard, Blastoise, Snorlax or Alakazam (If I have someone to trade to), and Dragonite.
Swampert is still amazing. I use him in Violet thanks to the dlc. I still need the new 7 star Poison Swampert though. I used one of the strategies shown and immediately got stomped lmao
I wonder if there’s a part 2 to this list? Since there’s probably more Pokémon that have been staying consistent throughout every Pokémon game. And that’s provided if they’ve been staying consistent along with the mon being in the current Gen Pokémon games.
There’s also Heavy Duty Boots, the ability Over Coat/Magic Guard, & special attackers that have either rock/ground/steel type. Other than Pokémon that can change/nullify the weather. And Pokémon with the move knock off.
Heartgold is the best game they ever made. Beautiful graphics before they went full 3D and charm was lost. The two best regions. The Pokemon following behind you. Perfection.
I wanted to try Dedenne in an X run because I needed fairy coverage and Slurpuff wasn't available to stupid trade requirements, but I quickly found it was just so weak! Who thought it was a good idea to pair those stats with that movepool?!
I have a Tyranitar in Shield who I mainly use as a defensive pokemon and support. He sets up a sandstorm for my Zyguarde and mainly will just be a nuisance because of how many hits he can take maybe up to 3 dazzling gleams.
omg I thought the entire time that you can't get Dusk Stone until the hideout in Veilstone (which you need seven badges for). This is a game changer for using Honchcrow in the future
This is going to be an extremely grind heavy team for a game like this, most notably the Lance rematch and Red battle. There is little real strategy here. I think Scizor with iron head, return, swords dance, and agility is the best bet for sweeping red and dragon dance ice fang Gyarados for sweeping Lance. But you're going to want to lead with something like Meganium that can light screen/reflect and perhaps paralyze with body slam. Magneton can with thunderwave though both weak against Salamence flamethrower. So maybe rather breed Chikorita line with a Mareep to get light screen/reflect/thunder wave without fire weakness. Though at the end of the day light screen is what matters more. Maybe Charm and Captivate/Memento could fulfill the same function.
