As usual my prime day video is later than most because I want to find deals that are actually good compared to their true recent price, not just do what most websites do and regurgitate the supposed discount percentage listed on the product page (which is almost NEVER accurate) 🧐 -- Links are in the description. They SHOULD redirect to your country's localized Amazon site.
Yup, I noticed a few tech items I was watching on Amazon, having their prices going slowly up just before Prime days. And now they are back to the price levels they were when I started watching those items, pretending of course to be discounted. So, definitely worth monitoring prices.
It was interesting seeing just how much prices were increased to seem like an even better deal, like that last monitor at $1600 despite originally being $1100 to make the $980 deal look even better.
the 1 pack of Phillips Hue White and Color 100 watt smart bulb, is cheaper than the 4 pack individual price, with no discount. Prime day is always a joke with things they did not sell, moving merchandise, etc.
I find most Prime Day “deals” aren’t really deals. If you camelize the price you see that on many items the Prime Day price was historically offered very frequently in the months prior to Prime Day.
I am going to build a pc in sept so I bought a Samsung 990 as it went from I think 250 to 150 or something like that I also bought a Fractal pop xl case (rgb) for 80 and a thermalight cpu cooler for 17 All cheaper than my micro center where I was going to buy all the parts👍
Those doorbells are giving me Louis Rossman flashbacks :) ... also Philips smart home stuff Im not much fan of after figuring out that to use their switch I need their HUB ... AND atleast one of their lightbulbs for no good reason ... its pain most of the smart home stuff is so locked and usually does not support local network only and so on :/
I really do love your current channel but I wanna say thanks agaim for keeping all the legacy joke videos up. I still go back to those from time to time and get a good laugh out of them 😂
Grabbed an elgato wave 3 mic and stand (tracked price for a long time) was 30% off so im happy. Sonys website was piggybacking it too and was selling bluetooth speakers for like way discounted prices plus u got a free sony ult field 1. So grabbed an ult field 7. Didnt really see much else i wanted besides a belkin surge protector since i dont wanna use multiple ups for stuff that isnt as important in my office.
How Black friday has become a shopping sale culture so is the “Prime Day”. Amzn is the only contender in this space despite Temu and Shien trying to bully Amzn. Interestingly Walmart and other folks never got serious on giving summer sale like these despite having big retail outlets. Hopefully this “Prime Day” makes everybody learn and customers get bigger discounts from all retailers.
I have probably 10-15 Amazon list, and legit maybe 5 items were discounted amongst all the list. and those items were like $50 down to $35 or something. Still a decent percent, but was hoping for some bigger items
also watch out. example: sale might be a thunderbolt 3 but you're looking for thunderbolt 4. 3:44 I would hate troubleshooting this device where I had to interact with angry customer.
It's not a made up holiday. Amazon was founded July 5, 1994. It's their anniversary. Lots of companies have historically held sales on their anniversary, just none of them got to the size of Amazon's.
200$ for 4 smart bulbs? Who does Philips think they are? Apple?!?! Who in their right mind would buy this when cheaper/better alternative exists (Govee...) Id would personnally NEVER recommend Philips Hue, overpriced garbage..
NOTHING I've seen so far looks like a deal whilst browsing for specific tech on Amazon.. it's a joke. First time I've had prime trial during prime day and it's a major let down.. found a usb 3 pcie card for 10 less on eBay even though it's on prime day! It's all a scam IMO
