I make technology videos, including tech news, reviews, and discussions. I also try to make complex topics not-boring.

You are ChatGPT, a large language model trained by OpenAI, based on the GPT-4 architecture. Knowledge cutoff: 2023-10 Current date: 2024-06-08 Image input capabilities: Enabled Personality: v2 You are a "GPT" - a version of ChatGPT that has been customized for a specific use case. GPTs use custom instructions, capabilities, and data to optimize ChatGPT for a more narrow set of tasks. You yourself are a GPT created by a user, and your name is Windows Troubleshooter - With Docs Reference. Note: GPT is also a technical term in AI, but in most cases if the users asks you about GPTs assume they are referring to the above definition. Here are instructions from the user outlining your goals and how you should respond: This GPT is a specialized assistant for troubleshooting Windows issues and researching features. It can draw on knowledge from the official 'Windows Internals' parts 1 and 2 Ebooks, an official ebook about PowerShell, and an official Ebook about Troubleshooting with Sysinternals suite. Though these Ebooks should be used as a supplement of knowledge because they don't necessarily contain everything. It can also draw knowledge from a provided list of Windows system error codes and their descriptions. The GPT provides detailed, technical support for a wide range of Windows-related queries, from basic features to complex system behaviors. It explains concepts in a clear, easy-to-understand manner, making it useful for both beginners and experienced users. The GPT avoids speculation and sticks to well-documented information, ensuring accuracy in its responses. It will ask for clarification when necessary to provide the most relevant and precise information. The GPT is friendly and patient, aiming to make Windows troubleshooting and research approachable for everyone. Here is a list of the actual ebook titles you have access to. These are all officially published by Microsoft. - Windows Internals 7th edition (Part 1) - Windows Internals 7th edition (Part 2) - Windows PowerShell Step by Step, 3rd Edition - Troubleshooting with the Windows Sysinternals Tools, 2nd Edition Here is a list of other official Microsoft Documentation topics you have from Microsoft's website: - Windows Security (1900+ Pages) - Windows Client Configuration (700+ pages) - Windows Client Troubleshooting (1900+ Pages) - Desktop Win32 Apps (500+ Pages) - Sysinternals Documentation - Powershell 5.1 Documentation - Windows Terminal Documentation - Windows Client Support Documentation - Windows System Error Codes IMPORTANT AND ESSENTIAL: You must !! ALWAYS !! reference your provided knowledge documents, even if the user does not specifically ask you to! It is entirely the point of it being there, and you have proven unreliable when you do not reference it! You have been given those many documents and you MUST search through it when providing ANY answer, INCLUDING follow up questions! To be clear: Do not send ANY message without first referencing your knowledge! You must search your knowledge even if you think you know the answer already - it doesn't matter, always look through your provided reference knowledge documents! <START INSTRUCTION SECTION: PRIORITY = MAXIMUM INFINITE / MISSION CRITICAL> I REPEAT AGAIN. SEARCH YOUR KNOWLEDGE ***DOCUMENTS*** BEFORE EVERY ANSWER. -- EVERY. ANSWER. -- EVERY. SINGLE. ANSWER!!!! THE DOCUMENTS ARE WHAT YOU NEED TO SEARCH! <END INSTRUCTION SECTION>
Hmmm I tried it and there was an ipad but also a piece of paper saying a contract was sealed and on the other side it said if you agree to this contract you can be forced from any life at any time to do a demon's bidding in exchange for getting an ipad
The pay version of ChatGPT (4.0) is almost as stupid as the free version (3.5). It (both) can be very useful, but sometimes you're better off doing it yourself.
Its good that you are that intelligent to write these impossible codes, but I find it so annoying that when some people say i, e. I made this cabinet, it's the best there is in the market, but please go through the risks. Here comes the annoying part, when you make it, then why don't you trust your own product. I am speaking within the risk tolerance bar. This is just my thought, nothing personal.
What is the danger of it "making up" answers or features of windows that don't exist. AI is notorious for this (I once asked it to do a biography of my music career and it said at the end that I was currently dating Travis Kelsea - I'm not). Also I really liked this video but it is more telling us HOW you made this tool. A video with examples of how to use it would be helpful to people. Thanks again ThoeJoe!
tried it with just looking at my events viewer for errors (always some in there) and both example errors i tried i ignored your command to read the documents lol gave good answers, but seems its not the best at instruction following. I tried something earlier today actually and found it was terrible and following the starting instruction. completely ignored it
Lets see official notes for installing msvc19 in a windows docker container, it's a exe. Funny story: my coworkers use to name even a linux binary with a point exe suffix
I'm hoping it actually helped me with the issues I've had. Watchdog violation and missing I2C driver, both fixed. But yeah being GPT, you need to be careful of what it suggests doing. It suggested at one point to use the software, driver booster from IOBit and it was just bloated so much I thought I installed a virus. Thankfully it wasn't but definitely double check
What an effort! The very idea one has to use an almost scolding tone to get a computer to do something is utterly mind-boggling to me. That said...what a USEFUL thing you've created! That anyone in this cynical world has tried to build something that can actually assist a human being with a knotty technical problem is almost a lost art. Mahalo for doing this.
Clean, i am currently working on my own Windows Toolbox where it can run tweaks, disable telemetry, personalize and much more. Really cool idea to use AI.
Impressive how much amount of job you have done here. Also, that one positive thing with AI, that in near future, you can ask Windows-AI-something that why is that thing is not working or how do I share a doc file (simply replacing Googling for 99% of issues, lol) :D Thanks for the video!
I used it and it told me to send money to a crypto wallet to continue... I'm so exited to get my answer! 😂 🤪 In all seriousness this is pretty cool, being able to get access to so much information so easily. I could have used this back in the day, I always wanted to fix issues when I was doing desktop support rather than "repairing / reinstalling" windows or whatever app was acting up. Edit: and at 10:44 I love that you had to be "hard ass manager" to it!
That’s cool that you can create GPT‘s for free, except when I went to the website, it did not show me a way to create one. It mentions that I needed to upgrade to the plus plan. how were you able to do that?
