Cherry blossoms usually bloom for 2-3 weeks at its peak, and we were lucky enough to catch this spring phenomen all throughout Kyoto and at Mt. Yoshino, a mountain with a charming little historical town built into its mountainside in Nara Prefecture. It's also a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its cherry blossoms, history, and architecture. This was one of our most memorable activities, and we definitely recommend taking a day trip here. Everything about Mt. Yoshino was lovely and delightful, even in the rain!
