The Tom Yum soup is awesome had it many times various places around Thailand. You definitely can’t go wrong having that. Sadly never seafood due to the SA exchange rate but maybe next trip Feb24

Personally, the entire Krabi Province (Ao Nang, Railey, Koh Phi Phi and Koh Lanta) is my favourite part of Thailand. Yes I love Koh Lipe in the deep south and Bangkok is my 2nd favourite city that I have visited after Kuala Lumpur in Malaysia

Phi Phi islands get a bit too crowded early, try going a bit later to avoid that traffic.

Not really. There are a few but not like rocking disco clubs like other places

They want to heal the natural habitat so keeping out people and their lotions and sunscreen for a few years is how they plan to do it. Also boat traffic the the gasoline ⛽️ affects the coral

I usually just took a taxi I would negotiate prices with the drivers in Ao Nang when I saw one.
