The stained glass in the church was stunning, always so interesting to see the architecture in other countries and regions. I didn’t realize they had so much dedicated to Joan of Arc. Great tour.
I went to school across the street from Le Jarden des Planes. Next time you are there...the best part of Rouen is the food...and La Couronne is the best restaurant in the city.
I like your laid back travel style with not rushing and filling your days. I'm the opposite so I need to take some of your tips to try to fit less into my itinerary. Free activities are also a major plus. Looks like a beautiful area to explore.
That's an area of France in haven't been to. Love that church. The architecture is amazing. Oh they have an astronomical clock there. I've seen the one Prague. This town is gorgeous. I love the history exposition you go into.
we visited Rouen a few years back, a really nice city (and much cooler than Paris which was experiencing a heatwave at the time) and found it very agreeable. Lots of churches and some wonderful Tudor-esque architecture. Missed the Ossuary though! And that fountain looks beautiful!
If you want to visit our beautiful city, you'll need comfortable accommodation! Villa Ernemont will be delighted to welcome groups of up to 10 people (5 rooms) for your enjoyment, with its cinema cellar and outdoor terrace :)
