My mom had my family move to this town back in late 2008 and our lives were miserable since. Half of my siblings moved away when they could, one died, my mom died recently and im left with a family business that i dont want to help keep afloat. My goal is to leave as soon as im financially able. I wish things turned out different. Its not a place to be happy in. The only place you can ever find yourself feeling sane is by yourself in a nice house and in a safe area. The rest is just a dump and sucks any joy you might feel at life. To those curious about this town, just go where everyone goes in this state for a short gimmick of a "good time". New Orleans.
I never been. Just being curious. Not sure if I will make it there. Mainly am about wanting to see different spots in the Mason, but right now grateful when I can visit my home area and see my bonus brother. My bio bro I see mainly when he visits MS and I go with him.
Nice try. I mean, that one photo of the desolate outdoor mall's fountain with green gunk in it whilst simultaneously trying to talk up the Shreveport experience says it all.
what hotels are closest to Louisiana boardwalk? (besides the Eldelrado casino hotel) when I visit visit my family who live in Shreveport .. I want my own hotel room but close to a shopping area
I grew up in this area and left as soon as I got married. I never feel safe in Shreveport. My extended family still lives there so that is why I have to return to visit them. Crime rate is high and I fear for my families safety living there.
