I am not a native to Utah but I served there for a portion of my mission in Salt Lake City. I also have been to Utah many times in my life and want to move there. Fry Sauce is a thing in Utah that you should try (basically ketchup and mayonnaise mixed together) and is available at many restaurants in Utah including Crown Burgers. Fries can be dipped in or you can put it on your burger. You can actually ride the TRAX Trains for free in Downtown as it is in a Free Fare Zone (from the Arena Station to Courthouse Station on the Green Line, Courthouse Station to Salt Lake Central on Blue Line and to the Library Station from the Courthouse Station on the Red Line). You can also take the Green Line to the Airport but until July of 2021 they are putting in a new TRAX Station for the new terminal so you will have to get off at a temporary station and take a shuttle or vice versa if taking the train to Downtown from the Airport. The Airport Station is not part of the Free Fare Zone (nor are the stations past the Arena Station on the Green Line going Westbound) so it will cost $2.50 one way or $5.00 for a day pass.
Oh wow, thank you so much for sharing this insight :) I will def have to try the sauce next time I’m there. And I also wish I know that the TRAXX trains were free! I walked the entire thing lol, I was so tired by the end of the day 😂
I loved visiting SLC, I made a video about the Great Salt Lake, it’s super close by, it’s amazing. I also went to ensign peak, and the views you get of the city are unbeatable. I strongly recommend staying for a day or 2 :)
Yeah Crown Burger is definitely really popular in Utah, also Cafe Rio, is a local brand. Also Be advise Utah weather is quite bipolar especially in Autumn and Spring
I have a lot to say.. So, I have been to every single building that he showed except for the comedy place. Also, Crown Burger...Don't get me started, it is AMAZING!! One of my family members works in that huge office building. Temple square is literally my favorite place ever at Christmas time. They have thousands of Christmas lights, and they have a beautiful nativity set that they set up. The Church History Building is very cool. They have a lot of very cool stuff to look at and a lot of it is relics that they found in the 1800's. The Clark Planetarium is an amazing place for kids and adults. oh, also, I have been to that same exact crown Burger, so. many. times. (It's great) So yeah, I love Utah. I also love the snow...
Wow, I’m so glad the video hit lots of the places that you hold dearly! That was my first time in Utah (SLC) and I gotta say, such a nice city in such a beautiful state. I def gotta go back!
I live in Ogden. It is warmer downtown than in the country because of the gunfire. Ogden Police do a great job of testing out the donut shops and ignoring crime, too! We don't have all he homeless they have in SLC, though. And our air stinks less.
Hey there! thank you for the nice comment haha, currently this is the only platform I post on just because of the lack of time. I work a 9-5 and it's been crazy lately, but have big plans for the future! :D
Lol... Edd, I live here in SLC... and yes it is beautiful... Bro thank you. You should of have tryied El Famous Betos my family ownes a few of them places.
Montemayor 2k oh wow! Ahh, if I had know I would’ve ! Next time haha. I have 2 more videos of Utah, I went to Ensign Peak and the Great Salt Lake, hope you like them too! :D
The Mormon stigma has protected us from the onslaught of new arrivals for years but with our booming economy in the middle of a pandemic people are starting to realize how great Utah really is😢
I walked from there to a dispensary. It took 3 hours. On the way there I seen a concrete light pole with a metal sign on it that said something to the effect of don't financially support the police or something to that effect.
It was great! I also went to Ensign Peak, and got a great view of the city. Then I went to the Great Salt Lake, so I think I got a great experience going there.
I am actually not sure haha, that was my first time going, and I got so lucky! People told me there was a lot of snow the week before, so I was really happy!
November is good but it’s cold. Just depends really, it can be somewhat warm buts it’s usually on the colder side. I personally love Spring & Fall because our Summers are too hot!
Oct Nov is when our seasons are in flux. You can get 70 degree days, you can get 5 degree days. And they can alternate back and forth rapidly. Nov is more toward the 30s and 50s really but you just never know. :D Summers can hover in the low 100s. Spring and fall are really nice. Salt Lake is a VERY green city when all the trees have bloomed. Fall we have the leaves changing colors in the mountains in Sept. Really, any time of year here is nice depending on what you like.
Betty Jean Eadie will tell you that the slightest thing anyone does effects the world for better or worse. So as much traveling as I've done. My comments carry a tremendous amount of weight behind them!!!
When I was in a small town by the Canadian border, I found that people where small in size, age, and experience. In L.A. you find people that are big in size, age, experience, looks, money, talent. BOOBS - everything. If you do find someone that's really pretty there she is really young. So I'm starting to notice a pattern. As soon as a pretty woman gets older she leaves Spring field!
He didn't convey to me that I was a sad person. Why? Because he was sad OR little as "Nothing To Lose, and Everything To Gain" talks about. There are stalkers everywhere.
Salt lake County is becoming hell now. A 1700 confirmed cases in salt lake County alone infected. The whole state of Utah is 3600.The worst part is coming since they're opening a lot of businesses.
