Ahh Hha nice one! Really means a lot and thanks very much for the awesome comment. When are you thinking of going to Base Camp? I noticed in the video I said in the spring it’s busy because people are going up to Base Camp, but I means to say Everest Summit. Any questions you have, do fire them over. All the best and good luck with planning your EBC trek!

I've been to Everest region in April/May and October/November. I was quite lucky with the weather in April as above 4000m it was sunny every day, though a bit cloudy over Everest one day. It was sunny crossing Cho La pass but cloudy later in the afternoon. I thought it was pretty quiet in the guest houses in April, especially in Dingboche, where I spent 3 nights. I did Kanchenjunga Circuit in May 2016 and the weather was cloudy most of the time so don't head out east. October is very busy with lots of tour groups so I would try and go in November when it should be less crowded and I definitely recommend the Jiri walk in trek rather than flying to Lukla as it is good acclimatisation and you get to go through some lovely villages.

This is great information! The pros and cons of each season make the choice really difficult. Like you were saying, Autumn sounds like a good first trip.

Ahh thanks very much! Glad you found it useful. Yeahh when I first started looking at it I just knew from what I read that September to November was the best time to go. But is it the “best” time for everyone? Some may not want a busy hike, and some may want it to be warmer. So thought this video would cater to most.
