I've been doing this vaseline' hack' forever. Been doing that with my very expensive perfumes since I've been a teenager. Grandmother taught me that one 😊 love all of your hacks
I did that too since I was a teenager. I am a grandmother of two teenage girls now. Will pass this hack to them make sure they can use any scentless hand cream and really nice perfume.
My BIL taught me about stubborn jars. Turn it upside down and smack the bottom of the jar until you hear the seal break. Then it opens easily. Works the majority of the time. Make sure you give it a good hard smack with the base of your palm.
In the 90s, my best friend in high school was Greek and she would go visit her family there every summer. One year she brought me back a gift of a small container of Christian Dior's Poison in a vasiline like substance. It was a small container but boy was that fragrance potent!
An easier technique for the jar is to hit the bottom of the jar 2-3 times with your hand where palm meets with the wrist. This will equalize the air pressure in the jar to easily turn the cap.
Thank you for the ketchup hack. Now I got ketchup all over the place because I only wanted a little on my hot dog and it kept squirting. Dumb heck and it's not the right way. It's a alternative. I hate when people say you're doing it wrong. The patent doesn't say to do that. And one of the originals were a bottle. So not pouring catch up the wrong way. It's a different way. The old way was to shake it out. Just saying LOL it's how you say it
Fragrance has been distributed in oils for thousands of years. It is also done so by burning fragrant woods. That’s where the word perfume comes from, par fumee (can’t add the accent on this keyboard!), through smoke.
Why put a skin irritant into skin moisturizer that defeats the whole point of wearing Vaseline unless u only care about the look and not actually moisturizing ur skin smh
Vaseline itself only seals in moisture (but some Vaselines have added moisturisers). This person was mixing cologne with Vaseline to seal it for it to last longer, although IDK if that will actually work, would have to try but I can't be asked to waste a whole thing of vaseline.
@@17h127 okay but I still feel like purposely putting a skin irritant on ur skin makes no sense specially with the 10 squirts of cologne he puts in there. Depending on what cologne it is that will definitely brake ur skin out
I’ve got a jar key. I got it from the kitchenware shop. It doesn’t need to be lined up, I can put it anywhere under the edge of the lid and it pops it, then the lid comes off without any muscle needed. I think it cost me $1.
You can also use a butter knife to open jar lids easily - just slide it up between the lid & jar until the vacuum seal pops & the lid will twist off easily. But I’ll look out for the notch
I was never much of a cologne guy. Years ago my ex-wife had bought me a bottle of V/S for men by Victoria secret for my birthday. Prior to that I wore old spice when I felt like being fancy. I don’t know what they put in that stuff but I never thought to compliment anyone on their fragrance before. Women were coming up to me out of the blue telling me how good I smelled. Emphatically. I didn’t really know how expensive it was and I wound up losing it. I looked up online to see how much it would run me for another bottle and there’s no way I’d consider forking over that sort of money to splash something on my face. I actually wear witch hazel with some drops of essential oil in it now. Tea tree and sandalwood. It’s like a cheap homemade aftershave. As long as I look squared away without catching gang green.
No but it sure does help with any bugs you might have like if you have fleas in your house you put that on your arms and it helps with the fleas and they won't jump on you and it helps with the itching if they bite you
Ive been doing the vaseline trick for years but with the small tin and using cinnamon leaf oil ,it works as a lip plumper and also smells nice on body in the summer .
I'm going to use every single one of these a lot I know it You're hacks are so awesome I just subscribe to your channel cuz I watch you all the time it's about time I subscribe because you're good to🎉🎉🎉
Is Vaseline okay for us to use? I’ve read where it’s not good for our bodies? I do like the dryer sheet hack for sure, I will definitely try that one!!
probably don’t use Vaseline with fragrances on your lips if you have dry/sensitive lips, i needed a little thing of Vaseline to cary with me for my lips but it was scented and ended up kind of drying them out. plain unscented vaseline works well for me though
Dill pickle juice to clean your griddles. My dad swore by it. I shared it with a grill cook at a restaurant. He tried and never used the degreaser again.
You can tell that was microwaved water. Super heated water has high surface tension as does regular but has water molecules just ITCHING to turn to steam. Break that tension and boom. Second degree burns.
