Jared, man, you're my idol 😊 I also wanna be that confident on camera and speak in that relaxed pace. Great video and promo talk for Ecamm, also my app of choice for both livestreaming and recording, I'm doing all my online workshops that way. Kudos!
Thanks Jared, Doc sent me over from the Ecamm live stream to check this out. 😉 Great video! I am also currently setting my Ecamm up to help simplify the editing of my videos that are not live. So many great features are available to us through Ecamm and honestly I am thrilled to finally have a program for both my Live Streams and edited videos that has been designed specifically to work with Mac. No more work arounds or problems that I had to deal with from what I was using prior. I have been recording my content through my streaming platform, without going live, to make my editing process faster for some time now and am loving how much better, simpler, and easier Ecamm is to use. Thanks for sharing, this is great info for those not already utilizing the record function available with Ecamm.
Excellent! Very clear and helpful, thanks. I’m just getting started with Ecamm and want to post my show as Podacast too. Can you please make a tutorial on how you use Logic to adjust audio. I know nothing about that. Or share a link to a good tutorial? Something short and sweet like this video. Thanks!
I’ll make a video in the future but for sure look up Alex Knickerbocker on RU-vid. He does use logic for sound editing but the audio editing principles he teaches carry to whatever editor you use for the most part.
Nice video, I see you are using Rodecaster with E-Camm, what way do you set this up to record yourself and your Podcast guest correctly, with no echo etc. Thank you.
Think I mention it in the video but probably did so super fast. Its the Blackmagic BMPCC 6k. It’s feeding into the computer and I recorded everything for this video in Ecamm
@@Thatguy1306n you'll most likely need an HDMI to either an HDMI, mini HDMI, or micro HDMI depending on your camera. And thing you'll need a capture card like the Elgato Camlink.
I'm a litlle late to the party...but this is incredible! Fantastic explanation of the software and comparison! Thanks for creating this video - you make it easy now for me to say, "Hey go watch Jered's video..." 🤓
Thank you for sharing this video! I have started using Ecamm (pro) recently and so far it has been great. It is unbelievably easy/fast to stream live to RU-vid, in 4K too like you mentioned ... for me this is huge, after years of using OBS (which is good but not so after trying Ecamm). For podcasting, I assume you extract the audio (MP3/whatever), somehow, maybe using "Record Isolated Audio Tracks"? I did my first interview yesterday and it turned out great, but is the person's audio being interviewed via "interview mode" and a Chrome browser web link being processed by Ecamm? I'm guessing it not as good as my local audio. Also, another question if I may, I wanted to just hear the person I was interviewing in my headphones ... but using Output->Audio Monitor, I could hear them but there was an echo in my voice (even with Echo Cancellation on) ... am I missing something? Thank you again! ☮️
Happy your loving Ecamm, it really is fantastic. I don't have to extract any audio, ecamm records the isolated audio tracks as well as the stereo track and provides them as their own files. Your guests audio on ecamm shouldn't be too much different vs it being recorded locally, that said it really depends on your setup. If you're getting feedback on monitoring, sounds like you're using an audio interface going into ecamm and do not have USB mix minus on. Technical questions are hard to answer on RU-vid comments. I do offer consulting calls, If you need help, DM on Instagram and we can book a consulting call to get all your questions answered.
Thanks for the video! I have a question about podcast. Ive been shooting with a microphone usb but i bough an audio interface to be able to record podcast with my wife in the same room, how would I go about using these microphones to upload to them stream.
