The Ford front end is from a 1977 or older. Not a 1978. Ford used a full rectangle grill from 78 and on.

That is a 77 ford or it has a 77 frill 78 fords had a grill that wasn’t split with round head lights and the 79 was same grill as 78 but with square head lights

You can tell that the Motor Trend on Demand channel isn't doing so well. All the videos they've been posting for the last month have steadily be getting longer.

The ford pickup isn't a 78-79. They had a different grill. That is a 73-77 f series

Already bought a car for 2000$. 2000 GMC Jimmy SLE. Not a bad lil car. Low end torque out of the 4.3 V6 and decent suspension. Now I need 2000$ to upgrade 😂😂 maybe throw a 3 inch lift on it. Some 33's, get my AC to work. But other than that it's a real nice piece

You list the liberty(that no kid in their right mind would buy for anything on road let alone offroad)? But didn't include the Bronco?? What. Also, I don't know many people with more than $2-3k total in their cheap off-road trucks which are also their daily driver's. Lower the budget and make each editor bring their son or nephew or adolescent male or female along to teach them and to see how a cheap truck would be handled by a real cheap car owner!

That’s not a 78 Ford it’s pre 78 it’s a mid 70s ford the 78-79 look way different from there so called 78 you can also look at your door jam and it will tell you what year you have
