BB Pro is 14.6mm with the BB 58 GMT coming in at 12.8…almost a full 2mm…makes all the difference in the world, especially for the small wristed out there, like me.
I have a BB54 and P39. To this day, I think gilt and other vintage styling elements suits the BB54 the most. It just works. I can somewhat validate the original BB58 gilt, but dislike the gilt on the bezel insert. I can’t foresee myself getting another vintage-inspired Tudor. Like many in this community, I feel as though Tudor’s use of vintage styling has become stale and overdone. The black bay line has become Tudor’s one-trick pony. The overuse of gilt and faux rivets needs to go. The P39 and the BB41 monochrome are refreshing. I want more modern designs from Tudor, and until this happens, I won’t be getting anymore Tudor watches.
Love the video, and photography is amazing as always. But afraid the hype on this model is beyond me. I think the BB58 is a future classic! Also love the new monochrome BB41. But this colour combinations is just really confusing.
Thanks! It surely isn't a watch for everyone. But the new thinner case and movement are a great canvas for the future. The BB41 monochrom was fantastic. Really liked it!
i'm not a huge fan of the style, but the thickness is VERY reasonable for a traveler's GMT. It's thinner than Omega and IWC. Breitling has no traveler's GMT. It basically has no competition until the Rolex GMT.
Of course we'd all like it to be as thin as the GMT Master but that's not going to happen. However it's way thinner than most other GMT's from brands in a similar category.
I dont know why,but looks so boring tudor, too much tudor kill tudor..i become to prefer the tudor royal or any other model who looks different than anh black bay...but sure its a great watch and any watch collector can realy love it,i love it too,but i just say is just like a hit song, you love it but you hear it so much so finish haiting your favorite song...
I can understand what you are saying. It's always the same 😅 just packaged differently. Even if it looks similar they hugely made the BB GMT better and I applaud that. Would I love to see something completely new - Yes.
Is that not the same as black sub date, no date, bluesy, two two tone black dial, Kermit, sprite, Batman, pepsi, rootbeer, they are all the same watch with minor tweaks . The 54, 58, gmt and chronos for Tudor are no different
My dream team man …. Still have to wait …. Same old design… keep up with your pieces don’t spent your cash 💰 on a “ new model” if that’s a new model…. Cheers 🍻
But as we both very well he probably doesn't have the means to have the Tudor let alone the gmt master 2. Besides, you are paying 16k for the gmt master2 unless you have a retail spend history of millions and at £10,000 it's very very steep for what it is. No watch lover less educated in watches than the one who 'only wears rolex' 😎🤣
