Without doubt our favourite and the best twin EDF jet money can buy...maybe with the exception of the AL-37 Airliner also from Motion RC. This jet can do everything and it looks fantastic in the air. The only criticism we have of this jet is the strength of the front nose gear. The retract mechanism and mount does tend to break if you fly off grass. Freewing need to improve this in future versions of this otherwise awesome RC jet.

Ideal grass jet with the edfs up high not sucking in grass cuttings but the weak front gear isnt grass friendly.

How long is that nose gear going to last kicking back like that ?

Basically it broke at takeoff. Look how stiff and straight it is while rolling to the takeoff-position. Then, after that slghtly violent bumb at takeoff it has some 5°-10° angle to the back. Thats my main worry too as I would have to fly from gras too and it answers the question quite well...

That gear may look stout, but I didn't like how it was jerking about on that turf. Either it needs a beefier gear, or the runway needs some serious tending to.

Nice flight, nice landing. I love mine! I only have three flights on it. It lands like a baby! It has been blowing every day here in Maine for probably the last three months! I am not shut down to flying because of Covid, it’s because of the wind!

It's Freewing so much like any other model from them which has a blue box. I dont have my A-10 any more. What's the specific problem?

So I just bought this jet, gently used. No RX. And I've seen videos about upgrading the landing gear. Based on your review, I'm going to leave the gear stock for now. Can you recommend a RX ? I'm not computer savvy and wouldn't have a clue how to set up a Gyro.. Thank you for any help, Kurt

Depends on the radio you've got. TX16S and a 10 channel Frsky RX would be my choice...but no escaping having to learn OpenTX or EdgeTX so you can setup the model correctly. Best to join a local model flying club and getting help in person.

Hi sir, what did you use to get your a10 to balance right, i have a cg machine and i still cannot get the bird to balance(come to a complete stop on the cg machine) Could you please tell me what i am doing wrong!

Move the two 6S battery packs until it balances at the recommended balance point. Don't understand how you can be having a problem. You don't need a cg machine (what ever that is) just use the fingers you were born with.

30% expo on everything. 3 position rates from 100%, 66% and 33%.

Mr Dom, I have a set of twins dropping from that bird big bird that drops baby's on to Earth! Got no clue how to fly RC over 100mph EDF's or any real Aircraft that isn't a Chinese flying camcorder that any one could look like, That dude knows his stuff with that drones! Price was right had it so Any tips on Flying! I don't think Maverick is piloting My Personal F-14🤤favourite bird all times I will not believe it till I see it Great Beginner? Better than never being able to say I have or had one my Favorite Bird. Real counting on Ah Mr Dom Please being maybe back seat driver from a far !
