I have a Meike 35mm f1.7 and the reason why probably many don't like to use them is the fact that they are pure MF lenses and have no AF. This seems to bother many with M43. I often find it even better for photography.
Great content dude! I'm really considering investing in the Meikes. I'm really considering the 25, because I like the FOV for that focal length. They have so many pros. Affordable, barely any focus breathing, build quality, 77mm filter thread, which is what both my VND's are.
How do the meike perform in low light ? I am looking for a cine lens that helps me with natural light shooting- looking at these and the Mitakon 25mm t1. Leaning toward meike due to available and price
A lot of that depends on the camera as well. But they are t2.2 so they are pretty good for low light. But the T 1 should be better in low light but not sure of what quility cost would be with that specific lens.
It's nearly impossible to get an affordable 1.ish lens which is really sharp. I got the Meike 25mm which is quite good. If you're looking for a sharp wide angle mft cinema lens which is still halfway affordable, get the SLR Magic Hyperprime 12mm 1.6
