I have this watch and it's better in real life! The dial colour and texture change subtly depending on the light. Also the legibility is fine. It's incredible value for money! I'm glad you like it as well!

i usually like more 'busy' watches but I recently bought the Addiesdive AD2118 which has continued to amaze me with how BEAUTIFUL it is, and i have got many compliments on it....and THIS watch get me in the same place as the AD2118 does. Simple elegance and simplicity and at a great price. BRAVO!

I have a hand-me-down Omega Seamaster De Ville that has a surprisingly similar dial, including the dauphine hands and black leather band. Very impressive finishing, and cool to see a "homage" inspired by a vintage Omega

Very nice review, thanks.. Excellent watch, excellent value. I just ordered the same watch today, only its color is "white band". The second hand is blue, the minute markers are blue and the Quartz writing is blue. I can't wait:)

Great review, as always, thanks for that! I own the cream white dial version and this is such a strap monster, awesome! Fun fact: The Chameri is nearly (98%?) identical to the version from Escapement Time, which is older. And they are an homage to the King Seiko 44-9990. So, did Chameri made an homage of an homage? I just picked up a pagani design blue dial pd-1731 all stainless for 31 bucks cdn last week. I like the one you have. Might get it. Might wait to see what escapement time brings up in the next few months. . Looks like a interesting year for dials. Thanks AL for the great review 👍

I have six of them. I agree about the straps ( horrid). I have an olive green, pale blue, a yellow/orange, black, cream or off white.

I've also owned the ET. They are very similar watches, with only subtle differences. Quality is pretty much the same. Specs wise, the only upgrade on the ET is the signed crown. The ET is also available in a smaller sized case and has more colour options. However, due to the current difference in price, personally, I'd go for the Chameri. Thanks for watching!! 👍👍

Hello friend, cheers! A 46mm lug to lug should be OK on a 6.3mm wrist, as long as the shape of your wrist is quite flat, instead of being very rounded. Also, of course, there is the matter of personal taste and your own preference. Thanks for watching 👍👍

Today I received this very nice watch with the frost pattern (white band) dial and it looks really beautiful:) I'm very happy. I looked at the blue second hand and it looks very nice. But I'm not sure if it's heat treated or just colored. What do you think? Thank you already:)

Glad to hear that you're very happy with it! I'm not sure if it's heat treated, or painted blue. The product listing for the textured dial versions doesn't mention it. I've seen a product listing for the original cream version of the watch and this stated that it's blued using heat. I would assume it's the same for other versions of the watch but I'm not 100% certain.

So yes like you think, I believe ours are heat treated too:)

The VH31 is great! I know what you mean about strap choices. There's some great deals on straps on AliEx though. Currently the brown straps in the video are selling for less than $3 as a Choice Deal and they are surprisingly good quality...they even come with quick release spring bars. I'm always impressed by the razor sharp hands on these watches. Well they have to provide a strap, so the include the cheapest strap they can find. I also prefer this watch on a more casual strap, something like suede leather.

Nice value but under scrutiny it is hardly a Grand Seiko or even a mid range Seiko. However for the money it looks nice at the price point. Only time will tell.🙄🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿
