I have a 2012 Ram 5.7 that has been swapped into a 1971 Dodge. The front accessories have been changed to a car setup and the intake is a Holley Sniper fabricated intake. Do I need an actual pcv valve system or a breather type system running from the crankcase to the intake tube? I'm using an LS style throttle body and it's a map system. Thank you.

Sounds like an awesome project car! Yes you want pull a moderate vacuum across the crank case, but you also don't want to pull oil into your intake, so you use one pressure relief breather, and one oil catch can on the side where you pull the vacuum into your intake manifold or throttle body. Some people run an oil catch can on both valve covers. Ordered one on their website for my19 challenger hellcat redeye....sent a message to see how long to send and they never responded....they are only a couple of hours north of me.....hope if any issues they are more professional....but definitely nice product

Can you use this also while having a catch can ?

Yes you can because it has a check valve and only allows for pressure blow off, but no air inlet.

How has this breather been holding up? Have you had any issues with oil blowing out of it?

Very well, zero issues, no oil at all, of course I still have the factory vacuum lines on both valve covers as well. This breather is a fail safe and will only kick in if the crank case pressure exceeds more than the factory vacuum system can handle. I pulled it off and inspected the inside and it's still clean.
