Highlights from the vans we converted in 2023 - our favourite features and appliances from each. We did also convert another campervan called Hardy but unfortunately we do not have any footage of this. We hope to get some footage of it soon!
We have designed and installed a lot of new features over the past year and are constantly innovating, trying to keep up with technology advances and the needs of our clients. It is always fun to have the challenge of a new or unique request.
Some of our favourite features this year include gasless van set ups with large Victron suite, dog friendly adaptations, pop-tops and poles! We have converted VW Crafters, Fiat Ducatos and Citroen Relays this year.

All really fantastic and so cosy! I’m at the bed bulkhead stage in our van and have discovered the complexities of designing the shape and all of the complex measurements, matching it to the kitchen counter height. I’m a bit uncertain whether to make the kitchen units 850mm or 900mm high, as I have a window behind my kitchen counter and a 900mm height will obscure some of the bottom of the window. But 850mm seems a little low, noticeabley. I think it’ll have to be 900mm. Do you set yours to 900mm? Thanks as always for the vids. I wouldn’t have gotten as far as I have without them!

Hi Dovoro, Thanks so much for your comment. We fully appreciate the issue lol and a small change in dimensions often has a knock on effect somewhere else. The kitchen unit carcasses that we build are actually 870mm high. We use either 22mm or 27mm worktops so the finished surface height sits only just below 900mm. We are so pleased you have found our videos useful for your own conversion. We will continue to push out more content. All the best 🙏

Great van, won't the oak ceiling need up keep/oiling

Thanks, yes the worktops and natural oak do require re oiling every couple of months. We provide a bottle of oil with each van and instructions on how to do this

Any suggestions if some one wants to build or buy smallest carvan where basic needs are fullfilled just to sleep even in snowy season and just 1 knob gas burner. Cheapest cosiest and smallest carcamp not more than 1.6 litre petrol car

Thanks, the smallest we do is the SWB Ducato or Relay but lots of people have converted much smaller vans and even cars! Something with only windows in the cab will help in snow as there is more space for insulation compared to a standard car.
