Hello from the States. Just found your channel and subscribed. Enjoy all of the videos. I imagine walking Wales and enjoying the beautiful scenery and the peaceful solitude. Watching helps me escape from the craziness that is the here and now. Stay well and be healthy. On to the next video.
Thanks for watching. I think the current craziness is not unique to the US at the moment. We've got a few issues ourselves at the moment that's why I go walking and eat chips and curry sauce, simple pleasures. 👍
Wow you know about our boy Dylan stuck there!😮many of us didn’t now that but tides awful fast and often catch folks out in the area, thank you for risky crossing against tide and venturing out there to the head, there’s always a bloke in wellies always there ahead of you,😊😂😊
Wow always gazed down at it lately never attempted to cross it as dark early now but could see the way across tide was out looked wet and slippery this time of year you had wonderful weather that day on the worm
I had great weather to cross, you definitely need a couple of hours to cross and walk it properly. The crossing to the outer head, although not really difficult, it isn't that easy.
wow ive not been there in years. my boarding school used to take a camping trip there every year. we camped by the house. ive done that walk a few times. when the tide is out and you walk along the beach around the corner. somewhere along there is a deep rock pool we used to goto. that was over 35 years ago 1983-1985. thanks for the memories,
Yes, it was a really sunny and calm day. Usually, we aren't so lucky with the weather. I was surprised how clear the sea was because not far down the coast it's really tidal and muddy.
A Great video Marcus - I only live about 7 miles from home to Rhossili, and I come down here quite allot doing my usual walks, I've been on the worm once a few years back now and not easy going too! But going down Rhossili this week for my first of many visits to the area! :-)
My family lived at the other end Llangennith so spent many school holidays there, last time I went out on the worm was mid 80's would love to go out 1 last time❤
awesome coverage, thanks for the video, just loved it.. a few tips on nearby places to stay would be very helpful.. also how it can be reached from London by train/bus ..
Thanks for watching. Swansea is the nearest city which is just under 3 hours from London by train. However, as some of these areas are remote a rental car is the best option.
Very interesting video, always wanted to go there on holiday but never made it.Will watch it again later, noisy in kitchen at breakfast time. You’re not supposed to eat the porridge and the dish.lol
