Hey on the subject of Leif Erikson have you watched the Netflix mini series Vikings of Valhalla? Well it's at the point in the series where Leif Erikson is about to go find the land to the west of Greenland which is more than likely America , great channel by the way
Loving the videos hope to meet you guys on a cruise one day. We’re on Arvia over Christmas and then a Celebrity cruise in 2026 to Thailand and Vietnam 😊
@@flydriveexplore I really like Celebrity but have only done the older ship the eclipse but it really was lovely, we’re going on the silhouette in2026. Hope you have a lovely time and I look forward to watching the vlog when it’s out
Hi Marcus awesome live video on Iceland. I enjoyed it. How are you doing? I'm doing well and so is my cat Benjamin. Have a great weekend see you next video 😊
Hi. We didn't go on any excursions as the prices were so expensive with Carnival. We did say we had previously visited Iceland a couple of times and here were previous clips we took in the summer and winter to see the landscape. There were trips from the ship around the south coast. Also there were 4 ports of call around Iceland during the cruise.
Sorry, I just read my last comment and it sounded a bit abrupt (writing in a rush). Skogafoss is about 2 hours from the port but there is a lot to see on the way back. Our ship was in port until 10 pm so gave you plenty of time if you wanted to tour. We would recommend renting a car for the day if you can.
Thanks, I find your videos super useful and interesting for learning about the history of locations around the Wales coast. Lovely part of Gower down there.
I worked at The Blue Anchor for about 9 months a few years ago. Never had any bad/uncomfortable feelings or vibes when I was in the pub on my own after hours. I did hear the ghostly story that people tended to hear footsteps up the small stairs that lead up from the bar when no one was there, but I never did! Lovely pub, lovely food, lovely family that owns it 👍👍
Our cabin was in a good condition but it didn't look like it had any recent update. You can see it in our embarkation video ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2Mft8S6NTlY.htmlsi=kE8yL9btmCXweAwb&t=453
It was quite funny when later that day a man carrying two pints of lager came running into the lounge, across the floor and nearly out of the other day as the ship rocked. He couldn't stop himself and didn't want to spill a drop.
I really enjoyed your video. Porthcawl has always been one of my favourite places. You made me feel old when you spoke about the railway. I live in the Rhondda valley and I went there by train, possibly twice. Through the Rhondda tunnel and then another tunnel from Cymmer to Maesteg. Usually Sunday school trips. Thanks for putting that video together.
I have a more frightening one, I was in my kitchen and water was thrown over me from out of nowhere all up my arm and also a family member in the living room seen this happening but this is a true story hahaha, it was an awesome experience I can tell u
@@flydriveexplore thanks for your reply, looking at the cost of the ships wifi not sure I will be using that, in this day and age all wifi should be available free of charge
Hi Marcus x Mel. I'm just watching some of your vlogs before I visit the dentist in Newport. I'm also a fellow Cruiser; sailed on Arvia last December to Carribean x again on its Mediterranean cruise last April/May 2024. 14 cruises in total. Keep entertaining us with your informative vlogs. Colin.
I'm so glad that MSC was NOT your first cruise. You guys would be done with cruising and would be missing out! I'm so glad you love cruising! We are lucky to have you guys share your experiences with us ❤
There is a story attached to this chapel which says that if you count the steps down and up you will not reach the same total. My wife and my two children did just that and came up with 8 different totals.
Hi Marcus awesome live video walk tour I enjoyed it. How are you doing? I'm doing well and so is my cat Benjamin. We have heatwave in Ontario Canada. How is the weather where you are? Have a great day see you next video 😊
I've been there with my children. Really good day out and they're very kid friendly. If you go on a nice day, which are few and far between in South Wales, it's a great day, nice drive down there and the area there is stunning.
