Best Violin Practice Warmup Exercises | You Play Along 

This is what I need right now, and not feeling guilty for not practicing all 24 Paganini caprices or all 6 Ysaye sonatas, etc. etc.

One of my violin students turned me on to Chris . The student needed help with the vids . So we look at them together .I help the student with some of the riffs that are taught . I thought ok ,this guy is pretty good . But then I saw The jazz that is being played .Oh Boy ! This guy is GREAT .Dang ! Then I saw the interview . Where he is talking about the past and the dreams of wanting to be a jazz violinist . It brought me to tears . I LOVE CHRIS . So Happy for Chris . And the Riffs being played ! I have a lot of work ahead of me . I teach several instruments .The violin is like my 7th instrument . And I will be using Chris's help for the violin . Such a cool laid back guy .Thank you Chris .

As a child, my classical teachers were *all* about technique and nothing else. Comfort while playing, breathing, fit of the instrument, how your body feels, learning to relax, what one's mindset is, learning to control negative self-talk, intonation as a fluid goal, self-acceptance, being present in the moment, flow, etc. It took me years to learn all that. You are making an immediate impact. Thank you for your timeless contributions to string players.
