It depends on the lens you carry, my sigma 16mm lense has a Diameter of 67mm so that's the ND filter I got (67mm)

@@EdifyingConversations lenses will typically have a diameter symbol (circle with a line going across it) followed by a number in MM printed on the lenses outer ring, in this case the lens kit that comes with the camera has a diameter of 40.5mm. You can also just get a large ND and a step up ring to accommodate for the smaller lenses, so you can use that same filter on multiple lenses without having to buy multiple sizes
